  1. Has anyone bought the 150th top from - cough - 'other sources' and compared it to a JD one?

Mine arrived this morning and I'd be interested to see if anyone could tell the difference. Mine looks spot on.

Picking the four this time seems like he's just leaving the potential awkward conversation with the one who drops out until June. There's no point in dropping e.g. Liam Kelly now, which would virtually signal that he isn't going to the Euros. Gunn/Gordon/Clark may get injured and then he never has to have the conversation with Kelly.

  3. Found this on a reddit post from an architect's website: https://www.holmesmiller.com/project/hampden-stadium.

They seem to have a few football related projects in the project's section that have actually been built so we can dream I suppose although the first reply to the post was: "There will be human colonies on the moons of Saturn before Hampden looks like that" which is probably closer to the truth. 😂 😂 😂

  4. I play 5s indoor on a Monday, then anything from 5s to 8s on a Thursday outdoor depending on how many turn up.

I've been playing the Monday game for nearly 18 years now, there's still a few from when I first played but I always find it amazing how the group transforms over time through friends of friends coming along.

I do loads of exercise but I thoroughly enjoy my two games a week and I'll be playing on as long as I can.

  5. Better? Not necessarily but they've definitely been more effective than us and prior to this tournament had a little bit of a swagger and self belief that carried them over the line.

To me they are just at the end of a cycle. They've had a good 6 years where at times they've played above themselves but they looked completely done against England; mentally, physically and completely devoid of any hope of turning it around. That first Iran goal was probably the final nail for that team/squad as it is and they look to be in need of a bit of a refresh.

  6. Hopefully it stands us in good stead. I get the continuity aspect but I always think you should take the opportunity of a friendly to learn something and so far it looks like a missed opportunity.

It would have been good to get a better look at Ferguson and Porteous deserved another start as well.

Also, if you aren't going to use a friendly to get a full look at Jacob Brown and another keeper then when is the opportunity going to arise.
