I don't think it's as clear cut as that.
My understanding is that the Cass review excludes various scientific studies in support of 'gender affirming care' that other countries have included in their reviews, which led them to a different conclusion.
Therefore it's not that the Greens are denying science, just the selective use of it.
Yeah there seems to be a lot of claims, I went to the published report to look at sources as folk complaining about it, but it seemed very vague in the actual report. Then I just gave up I have a massive amount of reading to do for my own studies. No need to get myself involved in this too.

Did she forget or did she just hope that nobody would notice. 🤣 As you say....Politicians?
They love taking credit for anything even if it's total nonsense. A few politicians on here.
I love how she still patted herself on the back for being right though

Politicians eh?

I can place a bet of any amount that polling and performance of the SNP will go up if KF becomes leader of the SNP
Yeah but the argument isn't polling numbers. The argument is getting a referendum with regards to circumstances. Indepenence support has been pretty much static with the+-3% error for ages. There is no avenue for a second referendum regardless who is in charge.
It's politically expedient for people who aren't in power to pretend there is to try and get into power.

It's various councillors asking for a vote I think. As stated the membership will decide.
We just need Kate Forbes in as FM now so the fantasy counterfactual crowd will see very little change in circumstances.

Be interesting to see what actually happened.

Still 2 years away for Scottish elections? Not to be negative but it seems things are taking a turn for the worse globally in general. Be interesting to see the landscape in 2 years.

I wonder if any of this would have been put forward for legislation if some people didn't seem to spend half their lives arguing with randoms on twitter.
Think a lot of problems can be traced back to the gist of this.

Usually manage to get Wordle solved, but the target is now to get it in three. Surprising how often that happens and also the amount of letters you can infer. I always start with "audio" to see which vowels are present (and if none come up, it's almost certain there will be at least one "e" in the word).
I haven't played wordle in ages however, that was my go to first word a lot of the times.

Is the profit purely down to the increased prices or to do with the increase in customers they've had to take on due to other companies going bust?
Centrica are a huge company so a lot of it get's moved around for various reasons as well, probably for tax purposes.

Once again, the headline does not reflect the actual context of the comments that were. More twisted BBC propaganda.
Sometimes we are prepared to accept the propaganda, if it backs up our own personal views. At other times we see the same level of blatant propaganda as being despicable. Sometimes it just depends on whose side the propagandists are on.
Did you watch the video cause that is pretty much what he did say, is the video doctored?
in the context of a Russian attack
'You didn't pay? You're delinquent?'... 'No I would not protect you, in fact I would encourage them to do whatever they want. You gotta pay.'"
Them being Russia
here is headline
"Trump says he would 'encourage' Russia to attack Nato allies who do not pay their bills"
-
It's cause they don't actually believe in anything or have an over-arching vision. They just want to "win" and then do hundreds of simulations on voting outcomes against different policies. You then have them flopping about all over the place.
A souless political machine ran by focus groups and strategists.

On the pension thing it really depends on what the percentage increase is going forward and how the personal allowance.
Worse case scenario, i.e. personal allowance doesn't increase and we take the highest possible percentage increase.
Assuming tax rates are the same. Rough estimates.
They pay £3 a week in tax in 2026.
If we take the mean of increases then we're into the 2030's before we reach that threshold.
If the personal allowance threshold changes then that pushes everything further into the future.

The whole covid inquiry has been weird. I saw the social media follow thing yesterday or Tuesday night very bizarre.

It's pretty funny how ruthless the greens have been. I hope the FM goes and we get Forbes so we'll see it doesn't make any appreciable difference.
