Any of you know your wines ? I recently went for it with the Virgin Wines after getting a fifty quid off voucher. Amazing wine the first few bottles. A Pinot Grigio that proves that the fiver stuff is bitter swill, and an Australian Shiraz that is as smooth as a Tommy Burns slide-rule pass. But.......A tempranillo that has a distinctive buzz on the tongue. Not exactly a fizz, but enough that you notice it. No mention of it in the tasting notes or reviews online. I even opened the second bottle of it and exactly the same. Is that normal for red/tempranillo, or a bad batch ? Had it in a white, but it was meant to be like that, never experienced it in a red. Complaint ?
