Anyone else think that Douglas Fraser (BBC Economy editor for Scotland) is a total of a man ?
Before, during, and now after the referendum he seems to take pleasure in using his journalistic position of authority to talk down Scotlands economy. The general anti SNP / Scottish Government jibe in his articles is barely hidden between the selected facts used to illustrate his politically biased articles.
His latest article really made my blood boil. Blaming the Scottish Government for the failure of Pelamis wave energy ? Ironic - surely the Government should be commended for backing such risky ventures and technological innovations ? For without public funding they wont happen at all... Clearly there will always be some failures amongst government backed business start ups - especially those involving new technology. However why choose to highlight this one ? Even at the end of his article he has a wee gloat about the low oil price.
This man is the epitome of all that is wrong with Scotland. Too small, too poor and too stupid - just let the big boys at Westminster do it properly.... Sadly, as ever, with the BBC you cant leave comments on their Scottish editorial articles either.
