  1. Why do the BBC, ITV, Sky and so on continue to dub/voice over interviews from foreign languages. We all ken they speak English when we get there, but it's not hard to roll up some subtitles for a short-interview and let the person express themselves in their own tongue. We may not learn Greek, Lithuanian, Afrikaans or whatever, but its a much better sight than hearing a horribly timed dubed silence with ''I will vote Yes on Sunday. I don't like this government and we need to be in Europe'' when what the real guy said was about 40 secs longer, possibly more long-winded, but at least honest. Until it was cool to watch Scando programmes, I had a few friends tell me they couldn't watch foreign films as they can't cope with the subtitles. Brits/Scots/ whatever we are, need to give ourselves a good shake, and accept subtitles for non-English interviews.
