The system is totally fine. It's a queue followed by selecting tickets of which there are plenty to go round. There was a booking guide showing you what to do too. Not their fault people don't read it then complain at half 10 on the day.

above 11 means 12 so that's who it meant to go to. 12+ might have been a better way to phrase it

So I got 2x Quarter final tix in the ballot with a view to trying to swap them with someone for Scotland group stage tickets. I have found someone to swap with, unfortunately though they only have Scotland v Hungary tickets and I am only out in Germany for the first week. If I did take the Hungary what do you rate my chances of swapping these with someone for Switzerland or Germany tickets do you think? How would you try make this happen if it was you?

You have 24 hours of 12+ points only to buy them. As mentioned it might be more expensive ones left but there are enough for all 12 pointers so you have a full day to purchase

they are getting a ticket first, most of the debate is about should they be able to get the cheap tickets first which is a different matter

Was there ever a need to take a full day off work when it was at most half an hour over lunch time you needed to be by a computer or phone? Probs nearer 15 mins

Why preferential ticket access beyond being guaranteed three tickets? That has never been suggested as a perk of getting more points

There's nothing wrong with them starting the sale at 12+ points, that leaves enough tickets for everyone. Points get you first access to tickets, not guaranteed access to the cheaper ones.

Surely it will be midday regardless. You'll be alright

Yeah I understand, it's a daft mistake but I don't think someone should be sacked for it.
