Good result tonight. Mcginn is an absolute machine! Dissapointing campaign but finishing with 3 wins is a step in the right direction.
-
Same 11 as saturday announced
-
Me tae, was all geared up for this campaign, thinking of battling it out with russia for 2nd. That 1st game was a disaster. Campaign was over as quick as it started. Ill go for 2-0 tonight.
-
I wouldnt change too much from last game. Maybe freshen it up slightly, armstrong/fleck for mcgregor and burke for forrest. Burkes frustrating but i'd give him another go, forrest can be just as frustrating in a scotland shirt.

Aye naismith is a great player to have around

Absolutely love mcginn, great player and great attitude.

Of course O'Donnell should be starting - he's the best natural RB available, that's why.
Palmer is utter horse dung and he's English anyway.
And Keiran Tierney can't even get himself fit enough to challenge for LB, so how can he ever be considered as an option for RB?
O'Donnell is our best available RB right now, so he should be starting whenever fit.
Agree
O'Donnell is the best right back we have available and i'd rather see him starting ahead of palmer

Good win. No the prettiest but still a win away from home. Been a pishy run earlier but gettin a few wins against "lesser" teams will build confidence and hopefully push us on
-
Some strike christie
-
No surprises, thought he would maybe have kept devlin and mckenna as a pairing.
-
Dunno what harvie was trying at the end. Was pretty poor, no real threat. Pish result.
-
With the squad i'd go 4-3-2-1
Marshall
O'Donnell porteous mckenna taylor
Mcgregor jack armstrong
Mcginn christie
Naismith
Or 4-3-3
Same keeper and defence
Mcginn jack mcgregor
Forrest christie/burke
Naismith

Hopefully, i wanted clarke for the job and still think hes the right man for it. Be interesting to see how the next 2 games go.

I would have put Gallagher in his position, but moved him into the centre of the 3 as I’d want him to organise the back line. O’Donnell played pretty well as a right wing back, It’s a little bit of a gamble but i think him and Palmer could play well together on the right side. All this talk of back 3’s is fine and I agree with it, but which CB are you gonna have in the middle organising it. Out of all our CB’s who is an organiser, shouter? It’s about getting the right blend, balance. I was on here before briefly and I picked Hacklett for this reason, he is an organiser, perhaps not our most talented or gifted CB, but does Scotland have such a CB other then Hacklett?
Up front I could put Forest or Christie in behind Shankland, it’s a tricky one we have options in some positions. Same with Mcburnnie, it wouldn’t surprise me if he’d give a much better account of himself upfront playing with a partner nearby.Aye mcburnie needs a bit of help, think christie or naismith behind him would help. Hes no been great for us but hes no had much help.

My team would consist of this giving club form and development in the U21’s
3-5-2
Forrest played RWB for Celtic agaisnt Lazio and was outstanding, Taylor is very solid going forward and defensively so would 100% be worth trying At LWB. I don’t believe having 2 CB’s would fit us. Having 3 leverages us to have more containment from corners and reliable from set pieces and corners of our own. Porteous is very much ready for his first cap as is Gallagher
There was decisions that Jack could be a good RB, but I feel him as our primary CDM while McTominay is away is a must. I just don’t feel we should be playing 4 at the back untill we have Robertson and Tierney fit.
aswell as McBurnie having more support with Shankland next to him ( debatable him or Naismith) but either way it’s no longer “hoof the ball to the lone ST” shite, Imo this formation plays to the best of the current group and its something I would love to see against Cyprus.
Would be happy to see that team start.

Good call up, would rather get him in and around it than some journeyman. Hes looked decent whenever ive seen him, no fiert of gettin stuck in.

😂😂😂
Always try to be optimistic ha
Maybe no 2 clean sheets but ill still go for 2 wins
-
No loss, never seemed interested.
-
Might have been a bit optimistic predicting 2 clean sheets! The defence is very poor looking, and a few important players missing. Banana skin all over it!
-
Cyprus 0 - 2 scotland
Scotland 2 - 0 Kazakhstan
-
Hopefully see a few of them soon. Be good if hornby and gilmour kick on a bit and get more minutes. Porteous, johnstone and hickey look good when ive seen them. Lewis ferguson is a player aswell but hes got tough competition
-
Like him and always rated him. A bit hit and miss, dont think he will be a major miss now tho, all the best too him.
