Probably ended any chance Scotland had of getting two places in the Champions league which means Rangers wont get a shot at it for at least another 10 years
Barring a miracle, Scotland will have 2 teams in the CL in 2021/22 season

Yet another thread descends into primary school bickering. No wonder this site is dying a not so slow death.
-
Hearts had a great win today. Sorry to take this thread off topic by talking about football. you can get back to your primary school arguments now, what a farce this board is, take it the mods have just given up

We are currently ranked 16th which would mean things stay as they are for the - 4 teams, 1 in the CL. If we can get to 15th or above then we would have the extra CL place for the 2021/22 season.
I think you are looking at our current position for next seasons rankings (takes away the 15/16 season points but doesn't include the rest of this season and the points we would gain next season). 14th is a much better starting position than 26th, which was the lowest we fell to recently.
The season after, we'd be set for 10th and then 8th the year after that but it is highly unlikely we'd finish a season in those sort of places unless other teams start reaching the group stages and performing well.
You're right I was looking at our current position, that's why I said as things stand. Going by the countries either side of us it's looking like we will not be any low er than 14th come the start of next season, could even be higher
-
As things stand we would be ranked 14th next season so 5 teams in europe, with two of them in the CL

Despite the result enjoyed the game. Crowd was great and thought we were the better team, beaten by a dive and a lapse of concentration. Enjoyed Brown showing what a pathetic person he is at the end as usual. Hickey man of the match at 16 years old , one of many youngsters ready to make an impact in the next few years so the future looks good.

How come?
(is it them that got the OBAF thing scrapped when they realised it wouldn’t just apply to rangers fans?)
correct. Kelly panicked when he realised that it wasn't just the bigots in blue that would be done

Spot on. It’s almost as if there’s a fortune to be made in Glasgow from that shite. Who’d have imagined that?
Exactly. Hearts stand against the bigots has cost us hundreds of thousands of pounds. Meanwhile these two clubs actively encourage them and take in the millions

They seem to be expanding in number, rather than decreasing in number.
Sadly true but the club are doing everything they can to kick them out; even though it is costing us thousands

Obviously thinks Lennon is still in charge. Bungalow owning cardigan wearing bank managers from Corstorphine with an inferiority complex but bigots? Na
unlike practically every other club, Hearts are actively trying to force these bigots out of tynecastle; without any whataboutery. Of course it's harder with away fixtures but they know they are not wanted and, hopefully, this is just the death throes of our mini hun brigade

It's because you're not old enough to remember his first spell in charge - about the only time in the last 20 years when we've actually had any hope - and also his time as a player. Criticism in fair enough, abusing a guy who is rightly a Scotland legend isn't.
he criticised him for his stint as Scotland manager in the last 14 months. McLeish did a good job first time around before he jumped ship.

Should never have been appointed and glad he has gone but the blazers will just appoint another dinosaur in his place.

You obviously have all the inside knowledge that proves he is. So, let’s hear it.
I don’t know him myself but as he come from just up the road from me I do know folk who do know him. I’ve not heard anything dodgy about him off the park and considering who he is, stories about him would fly about if there was any. He’s done plenty at local schools and football clubs.
He’s certainly no Riordan or O’Connor. I’ve a feeling you are one of those people who can’t seperate how someone is on a football pitch with how they are in everyday life.
He got barred from Louie Browns for abusing the staff😊

I remember seeing a picture of Bertie Auld jumping around in the hospitality lounge at Celtic, quite obviously steaming and quite obviously had pished his breeks. Long since retired mind you so maybe the norm.
He presented our golf society prizes when I lived in Uddingston. His thank you was a litre of vodka. Was a good laugh but sure did like the bevvy

Why should Celtic not highlight offensive chanting?
As I said, pathetic and so old firm.

I thought both red cards were correct, in fact the second booking for Ball could have been a red card in its own.

And it will never get taken off his record, basically fucked him for life. I've seen streakers and loads of others run in the park and can neverr remember any of them getting a custodial sentence, with the exception of the Brum fan you mentioned, but that was for a cowardly assault.
The diet hun who attacked Lennon got a not guilty ffs
No he never, he was convicted of breach of the peace. He was found not guilty of the assault because they insisted in adding sectarian to it and there was zero.proof of any sectarian side to his actions. As our new song goes, ' it's not sectarian, Neil Lennon's a xxxx '😊😊

Played OK today, created chances, didn’t take them. Should have won, didn’t. Winner was as good a goal as I’ve seen in a derby for a while.
Just as I saw it. We were the better team, their first goal was offside and we should have had a penalty. Their second goal was a cracker to be fair. on to Hampden now

Halkett to Hearts is a great bit of business for us

If Rodgers had achieved the triple treble I think that would have meant he would have won every domestic trophy possible during his reign.
I think he should have gone for that and then left. He might have been disappointing in Europe but that would still have been quite a record on his CV. It is all a bit desperate the way he fucked off at a sprint at the first mediocre opportunity. I reckon better offers would have come by waiting six months but hey ho.
he won every domestic trophy possible during his reign

Damour was pushed in the back and so his hands went up so no yellow card and should have been a penalty (very soft one). The handball a minute before was probably the most blatant handball I've ever seen that didn't result in a penalty.
