Apart from a poor attempt at goal he was terrific.
Yeah, that shot lacked power, timing and accuracy but apart from that it wasn't bad.

Ryan Jack bossed the midfield last night against decent European Opposition. Keeps playing well then deserves a start for me. Scott Brown-esque doggedness in defence and keeps the game ticking over in possession.

Whisper it quietly but Jason Cummings ( for it is he ) scored for Shrewsbury last night. 😄
His level is Shrewsbury, or SPFL Championship. Never understood how he managed to get called up let alone played (only against Qatar I think).Want's to play for Australia now anyway. Welcome to him.

We'll only be wearing this set of shirts for 4 more games. Probably only the home top twice more.
New strip for the play-offs and (unlikely but very, very hopefully) the Euros. -
Keen on suggestions too.
Think we'd be better to just try normal bars / pubs? Just have Scotland tops on, no kilts or other nonsense. -
1st listen I couldn't hear anything else but "I hope not" then what I thought was him saying "shite", but not "it's shite".
Listened again today to just the audio without the distraction of the video and he defo says "I don't know, are you?". Fleck says he's injured so Oli says "you're gonna leave me to go on my own" then clearly a different voice says "shite".
There's about 5 different conversations going on there so it is hard to tell but I'm pretty confident the above is the closest thing to what happened.

Draw with England.

Draw with England? Beating Croatia.
But you're right in that the 3-2's against Spain and Germany (both world cup winners at the time) were close but no cigar. 😕

..Why does it have subtitles? He's talking English.
Never mind the language, he's barely talking at all. Boyd did a better job on that mattress advert.

I think we might get a result against Belgium at home, just based on the fact we sometimes do against the bigger teams. Full house, the players will have a few games under their belt and you never know.

ABE have always had my support and they always seem to come up trumps.
-
I know I'm getting ahead of myself... but as we're talking about it... if we play the English in London I take it most would attempt to travel even without a ticket?
-
Managed to get the Friday game on 19th June so I'll get to see whoever beats us in the play offs.

McBurnie looks like a proper penalty box striker. Most go in from about 8 yards out. Klose made a pretty good career out of doing that!

I'd go back and check it if I were you.
Since when is twenty-four million nine hundred ninety-nine thousand nine hundred ninety-nine pence a world record?
2003 called, they want their world transfer fee record back.
I'd go back and check how you wrote that number out the first time if I were you. (Hint: It's in the bit I first quoted you on)

What next, are they going to eventually offer £24, 999,999.99m?
That would be a world record! £24,999,999,99,000,000 is a lot for any player.

Anyone else complete the stupid wee game captcha for it to say "continue to your action" but there's nothing else there? If I hit the "Submit" button it refreshes the game and I'm stuck in a loop.
Any help appreciated.

2 for me. Section "I" I believe.

Grant Hanley gets a raw deal from the fans...he is no where close to being as bad as he is made out to be.
Hanley is like our Phil Jones.

For me the captain sets a standard in terms of attitude, commitment and training etc and Robertson does that without a doubt. It's not about making on the pitch calls for change of shape or shouting the odds. There should be a few vocal players in every team, regardless of experience.

Really don't think fullback is a position to have your captain in, just too far away from other areas of the pitch and it has taken away from his performance I would say.
Hard to change your captain, about the only way you can justify it without knocking the player is with a change of management.
Lahm!

Travelling alone (aged over 70.) and arrive Monday afternoon and booking a central Ibis (either off Grand Place or Gare Midi Ibis.) BCan I join in drinks with fellow supporters and go to and from match together?

Sure you'll have no issue with that at all. There's only two of us going but we're sure to end up gabbing away to other TA.

If anyone is able to get 2 tickets or knows anyone that can please can you let me know. Willing to pay over the ticket price for them. Thank you in advance
Take it you're not a member of the SSC? It's down to 1 point now and I'm sure you get a point just for joining the SSC. Might be worth considering doing if you think you'll go to some home games this campaign too. You don't need to buy a season ticket and will get a discount on home games. Not much mind you but still. Think it's £50/55 to join.

Probably better sitting in the home end for a decent view. I managed to get away tickets and I'm only on 2 points. I could have selected either the cheap or expensive ones so obviously not close to selling out our end.

I wouldn't be against it given Shankland showed way more ability than a player two clubs have paid £12m for. However, at the same time I can see Clarke's logic. either way we're not qualifying, simple as that. Play-offs in 5 months and what's going to change in that time?
On a side note, Oli Burke really needs to learn how to get his head up and play a simple pass. It was actually a joke the amount of times he let us down in a good position last night.
