  1. I managed to get 2 tkts from my brother in law who works as a London cab driver 70 quid each,  me and mate from work heading down I don't know why, I suppose i'm a glutton for punishment.  Anyhow he advised against wearing kilt as there are some dodgy security guys around who will just call for back up and refuse you entry if they have slightest reason.  I have been to two recent Scotland England games at Wembley with a guy who does not talk to me anymore I think I pissed him off because I kept leaving him on his own,  last time being the 2-2 draw at Hampden when I decided I would rather watch game in the pub with friends and family as he was drinking too much, wee shame his loss on a tkt for this one.  The Wembley game we missed the first 20 minutes and Lambert scored the winner the second one I left after England's 1st goal before half time Sturridge I think it was,  so not sure why I am even doing this suppose I can only hope for a win. As for the auld mate if he reads this and wants to buy my tkt he can get on his bike.

  2. Scotland TV programs are just garbage, only an excuse this year was the same as all the other years 95% garbage but you still watch it whilst pished hoping for that we nugget of laughter and when you find it your doubled up, tears streaming down the face whilst eating shortbread drinking whisky and waiting for the bells.   I have been sober now for 14 months and every new year prior to 2020 I would howl with laughter at that shyte whilst being pisht.   I suppose everything seems so much funnier when you have had a few,  I suppose that's why its only on when everybody is drunk.  Last year being sober I realised it was just awful,   this year was no different.  As for Calman why is she oan the telly?

Thought I would start a thread on this topic. Anyone an avide fisherman? I am going up the St.Lawrence river for Musky (muskellunge) part of the Pike family today. I have been a avide fisherman over 30 years now, mostly Bass, as we owned a caravan on a bass lake. I absolutely love it. Used to go every weekend when I could. Now with Covid, and most sports and activities being cancelled, I have been getting back into it as I know the good spots to fish and great thing is nobody else around. I have all the fishing gear you could imagine from over the years, really enjoying it again. Anyone else in Scotland, or anywhere for that matter fish? I would imagine most of the recreational fishing in Scottish rivers and lochs would be salmon or trout? 🙂🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Scotland is stunning anybody wanting to explore let me know,  I have been all over every isle from Shetland to Arran fished for Salmon, cod, plaice, sea trout every wee fish that is swimming in the sea.....people called Colin need not apply.

Miller and Iwelumo it was on the bench. Fletcher had spat the dummy out by then and was greeting in the stand.

Anyhow it was a shit result.....are you trying to say that the formation was the best The Glorious Mighty Scotland The Brave can come up with?   Just to sit and defend ....with no fight, no forward thinking, no crossing the border into the other teams space, just sit there like lame ducks to be beaten....as we were?

That Ireland v Wales game was possibly one of the worst internationals I have ever seen

I saw a game once where Craig Levein started with a 4 6 0 formation, Miller and Steven Fletcher on the bench.   It’s ingrained in the memory like a red wine stain on a cream carpet. No matter how much you rub it, you can’t get rid of it. That was not very good either.

You drive past fields full of people playing cricket most nights in October? In Scotland?

    You really don't.

Read the post properly.   I drive by Glasgow High School and around 15.30 to 16.30 most nights they are playing cricket and rugby no football whatsoever.  Also I  have many friends who are teachers in the east end of Glasgow they say football is dying. Parents are not encouraging their children and staff not interested in promoting football.  SFA get funding from Scottish Government it goes to established football clubs.  Scottish Rugby have the same payments it goes to grass roots development.  Farcity you talk utter shyte.

Private schools don’t go in for football.

Exactly and most state schools are doing the same, take my daughters school Douglas Academy its all Netball, Hockey and playing the french horn the guys there  dont have a football team.   I was brought up in the early 80' in Glasgows east end every school had a football team even Jordanhill and Allan Glens etc.  Football, sad to say it but its a dying sport in Scotland

Would you like us to just sack the gaffer every six months then ?

Och I why not...lol   Clarke is a moany boring lump of manure.....bring in big Dunc lets kick ass, headbut and stop sitting in our penalty box.   Joking aside we can qualify through nations league but sitting back is not going to work.

  9. Big crowd from Renfrewshire heading to city centre after San Marino game.  Kilts and San Marino tops pizza and grappa all welcome.  I would like to see a forward thinking manager Clark has always managed teams that were in a struggle hence the deep defensive tactics lets go gung ho we have a great midfield and decent forwards but shit defence so why sit in and defend....Big Duncan Ferguson for me lets shake it up a bit.

  10. I have not been here since Scotland v England 2-2 game, not just the fact I lost interest in Scotland at the time but some people were acting like I was total scum for no reason that I know other than my complete lack of confidence in Scotland and not turning up for Scotland v England match.  Anyhow I am back.  My confidence in Scotland even lower lol,  but thought I would see what everybody is saying about our biggest defeat away in a decade and four defeats in a row in 15 years.   Mon the scots, we got the basis of a good team but in my opinion tactics all wrong.   Why go on about Strachan he is finished you mention Strachan then mention Brown, Stein, Roxburgh   whats the point on reflection of old managers reflect on who we can bring in that would be better......Like ,,,????  who cares we are garbage.
