Listening to willie miller and Richard Gordon? What’s that got to do with anything?

    what happened at rugby park?

Are you tarring a whole support with the same brush because of the actions Of a few people? If we all did that I’d have to stop talking to some of my best mates because they are huns.

Miller and Gordon fit your cosy pro Aberdeen stance.

At RP in March Dons fans were openly goading older Killie fans leaving the Rugby Road end.

I'm talking Killie fans some of whom were OAPs.

As I said shower of shite.

I’m not ignoring facts, you’ve presented stuff as fact when it’s not and you’ve ignored some utter nonsense he’s spouted too, like his recent ramblings about Aberdeen fans.

youve no way of knowing why those Aberdeen players were picked for that pittodrie game so that’s not a fact. If they were picked for the pittodrie game only, why is Shinnie still being picked or McKenna?

Boyd spouts opinions not facts and he does it to get a reaction, he’s just like Chris Sutton. They both think they’re calling it as it is but they’re not!

Id never doubt or criticise boyds ability to hit the back of the net, I was in the camp that wanted him playing for us but I will criticise his attitude under burley.

Why play for a manager like burley? You don’t, you play for your country and you give everything you’ve got for it. It’s not about money, your club or the manager it’s about you’re country. This is something that’s some gotten completely lost among players and the fans over that the last twenty years.

By taking the huff these players disrespected the national team and it’s fans who pay a lot of money to travel far and wide supporting Scotland.

You stick to listening to Willie Miller and Richard Gordon then.

    As for Aberdeen fans.

I had a lot of time for them, but their antics post match at Rugby Park last season, after the cup replay, were a disgrace outside the ground.

    Shower of shite.

Utter pish, sulking because you don’t get picked for someone you perceive to be a lesser player than you is never acceptable. I honestly can’t believe some of our fans try to justify a player making himself unavailable for any reason except injury or family related emergency.

boyd is and always was an utter prick of a man, he’s got an ego on him which far outweighs his talent and now he’s got the mouth to go with it. He was totally out of order, as was fletcher as is Griffiths.

all three should have or in Griffiths case should be desperate to play and show McLeish he is wrong not to pick him. Sulking doesn’t do that

    Utter pish from you.

People don't like Boyd because he's hurt them on the football field even though he's a "fat Hun bastard" allegedly.

Scored a rake of goals in the SPL and and great goals to games average for Scotland too.

Yeah he's not the quickest but he knows where the back of the net is.

As for his mouth he's called it correctly on numerous topics despite being ridiculed at the time.

Cathro at Hearts, Aberdeen players only in a squad for a Pittodrie international.

We'll see if he's right on the split in Celtics dressing room. From what I hear from Celtic fans he's bang on.

If you've got a fuck wit of a manager like Burley then why work for him?

At least he wasn't associated with all the shite that followed under Burley.

I get you don't like him and a lot of people don't, but don't ignore facts.

Boyd was our best striker but an arse and burley failed to manage him properly

Fletcher was our best striker but an arse and Levein failed to manage him properly

If McLeish follows in with that path he won't last long

When you're a goal down at home to Norway in a qualifier and you bring on Iwelumo instead of Boyd, who at least was proven at international level, then you reap what you sow.

No wonder Boyd said he wasn't available after that debacle.

Burley was a shambles of a manager who looked off his tits in interviews.

I was at the match and witnessed the abuse the players and management received, quite correctly.  This is the beginning of a different attitude from the fans telling all concerned don't dare serve up this shite again. Don't dare play with no heart or effort. Boycott no, criticism yes. Happy clapping days are gone.

Criticism is water off a duck's back to the SFA.

Ticket prices have been an issue for a while now.

    Their response?

    £35 for a friendly.

It's a gravy train for the blazers and their hangers on.

McLeish as manager. The car crash nearly everyone said would be. An old boys handshake act after a very public and fruitless pursuit of Michael ONeill.

The will they/won't they Hampden/Murrayfield debacle.

The unbelievable outcomes of players appealing decisions to a panel. A panel that no one knows who is actually sitting on it.

The inability to come out and publicly acknowledge that most of their top referees are not very good.

Ian Maxwell. Another patsy. Done zilch since he took over bar pocket a big wage for sitting on his arse.

The SFA are corrupt and incompetent to the core and have been taking the piss out of Scotland fans for years. We're a cash cow to them and nothing else.

    So you go on criticising.

I'm boycotting. Hit them in their pockets.

Tartan Army are increasingly culpable in the farce that is the national team and SFA. A clean out from top to bottom and a complete rebuild of the SFA power-structure is overdue by at least 10 years. Until the last year or so, the fans just lap it up over and over and over again. But there's still nowhere near enough supporter anger at what is a national disgrace. Every new campaign, fans talk a good campaign but roll up to the turnstiles and hand over their hard earned cash.

There should be mass protests, walkouts and boycotts until those in charge across the SFA are ousted. They'll remain untouchable until fans get their shit together and organise co-ordinated, high-profile protests, denying the SFA of major revenue.

Parting company with Strachan was right, but appointing a has-been from the old boys network, who's done absolutely nothing in the game for five years, is partly the fault of fans who let the SFA shaft us year after year after year.

Hitting the nail right on the head.

    Well said.

Start by boycotting matches and the SSC.

You are on the wrong forum if you think Rangers fans will get any credit pal.

No fan of Celtic or Rangers but at least the condemnation of what took place today is gaining attention.

Green Brigade trashed around 70 seats at Rugby Park last week and not a mention about it.

Mind you, as we gubbed them I'm not holding my breath.

Last time it happened at RP was when they clinched the title and Lawell claimed it was just "over exuberance" before eventually coughing up to repair the damage.

I thought McDonald was totally anonymous on Friday night, can't believe as many folk have him in their starting 11.

McGinn made a mistake yes but at least he was wanting the ball to make a mistake.

McGregor has to start in goals. Gordon was weak for more than just the first goal on Friday.

As for right back, I've said my piece on that enough times. Fraser is wasted there, SOD plays there every week and is in great form and I'd rather we utilised Robertson/Tierney combination on left hand side.

    Exactly this.

  9. We have a guy playing RB week in week out in Stephen ODonnell.

That should be our option instead of trying to put players in unfamiliar positions.

If we have to accommodate Tierney (he is a cracking player) then play him left midfield.

Gives us the option of him or Robertson going forward. Tierney can cover for Robertson if he goes upfield.

Why when we are a team in so called transition are we playing Belgium and Portugal in friendly matches.

Not good at all for confidence and national morale, we need to play against teams lower level than we are then build it up, gain momentum confidence and a slightly better feel good factor than what we're getting, our strikers are starved of chances midfield chasing shadow not getting much of the ball and our defence self belief will only get worse this is nonsense and makes absolutely no sense to me please get a grip your killing my seance of enthusiasm for what lies ahead

    Why?

The opportunity to try and make a quick buck.

They don't give a shit about the team.

As long as mugs are prepared to give them money they are not fussed.

Christ they can't even decide where we going to play in 2 years

A loss to Albania and it puts this play off spot into jeopardy and maybe already has us looking at another failed opportunity. It we don't get the play off spot then we need to finish in the top 2 to get to the Euro's and then looking at a World Cup campaign as our best bet for anything - if THAT happens then I want to sack McLiesh and get a young foreign manager who has yet to get their big gig - like a Roberto Martinez.

Martinez is lucky. He has a fantastic group of players.

Everton fans were glad to see the back of him.

McGregor is a far superior keeper than Gordon. Being picked for the Albania game over Gordon is testament to that.

Take your Rangers hating specs off.

Yes he is a better keeper. Played at a higher level than Gordon recent seasons.

Gordon doesn't get worked enough domestically therefore gets found out when the level of opposition is better.
