I suspect his chelsea career is over , Everton are a dreadful side not sure what would be in it for gilmour he is not creative player and that’s what Everton need.
if he got a hard time at Norwich he would be destroyed at Everton.

if he doesn’t get a transfer feel we can’t really be picking him for internationals if he doesn’t play club football

My feeling is that whatever you have with premier sports will be honoured up until the end of your current contract .
virgin said 5.99 a month for premier for me back in June but had to stay for another 18 months.
think this viaplay was just looking for a tv platform as would not have been sustainable online only.
there was that company a few years ago buying golf rights and la liga but sunk without trace .
I do think this viaplay will eventually play hardball with sky and virgin and that’s where it will get messy

I know this won’t be popular but in time billy gilmour as he still dining out on the england game

Just spend a week on England’s south coast Poole and sandbanks temps pushing 30 degrees everyday .
stopped in London on way home went to Spain v Germany womens game on the way home at Brentford it was 28 degrees at night at the game.
it was still 26 degrees after midnight as I finally got back to the hotel.
the record temp in Dundee is 28.9 degrees that may be in doubt early this week

I agree that we need to focus on our attacking midfielders to cover our poor options up front.
when the likes of Armstrong is in the side I feel we are so much better going forwards especially against poor opposition .
the flip side is still unfortunately mctominay and Gilmore especially against better opposition where we still have to cover too much for their deficiencies.
this pushes us back mctominay due to his Jack of all trades master of none role.
Gilmore I know is a favourite but it’s always more a backs to the wall performance when he is in the side due to him being a fairly defensive midfielder and offering nothing going forwards .
so for me we are better when both of these are not in the side

We are not entitled to turn up and beat teams like ukraine or czech rep. You have to accept that with a squad of our abilities that we will occasionally lose games to the likes of ukraine czech rep etc.
If i said to you before clarke was appointed that he would have us qualify for the euros and make the play offs of the world cup would you have been happy with that outcome?
If your answer is no to that question then you were deluding yourself or forgetting how poor we have been this last 20 years.
One of the huge differences between us and the likes of wales .
they have the belief that they are better than sides like Ukraine and Czech Republic and beat them on regular occasions , technically they aren’t but they have a belief against these second ranked type sides.
think back to the euros last summer they were shocked and so was their media that they were taken apart by Denmark

Stewart and brown look like absolute diddies at international level on what we have seen so far along with the huge amount of dross we play upfront in recent years .
yet Obafemi makes his debut for Ireland looks a player only 21 so how come they are able to find players yet we can’t

Still think we place too much focus on names and who they play for , we have 5 EPL players etc , Clarke will not see beyond this and this is the problem .
He doesn’t seem to be able to adapt the team to the different types of opponents we face and that means leaving out players against certain opponents

Seems Scotland fans are getting a raw deal with regard to TV rights.
Struck quite lucky phoned virgin to put it on the other day as I have had off and on last few years .

Think we are probably back to where we were two years ago, the fortunate euros qualification set expectation too high and at an unrealistic level as to where we really are .
we will beat teams lower than us, fail too often against teams around our level.
we won’t trouble second seed type teams , never mind top seeds

This is really bad I always feel when the likes of Aberdeen , Hibs , hearts , United okay they have not been in europe for a long time , get a doing in europe shines the spotlight on our game more.
these teams have bigger supports of course and our biggest best of the rest.
more so than likes of Motherwell and st Johnstone as they have no tradition of europe
