Could be a good shout. I’d be quite happy for Billy Gilmour to head out there

Do think he may have to go on loan somewhere again as he won’t get anywhere near this Brighton side for league games
-
Brighton win means another game for gilmour in the next round I suppose
-
Is this an official international date or are we just making it one. Don’t see many others playing friendlies
will clubs be fully cooperating even in releasing players

Or maybe a goal ans big performance will force him into their premier league 11
I can’t see him playing ahead of tomiyasu at the minute .
although I assume he will Play against Brighton in the carabao cup next week, might even see billy gilmour for Brighton as well

Tierney opens the scoring for Arsenal with an absolute peach. Brilliant strike.
Great goal but as the commentary says he can’t get in the premier league 11 for them .
Could there become a point he asks for a move

We'd've been helped in the late 80s by the English European ban - you had current England internationals choosing to play in Scotland to have a crack in Europe. No doubt came to an end when the era of Satellite TV came into effect in England.
Our best results were before that period

Proud of the bhoys tonight. We don't deserve to be 1 down. Hit the woodwork 3 times aswell..
The players whilst perfectly good enough for the league are way short for this level .
It’s still the wrong tactics for europe , ange has not been good enough in europe this season and last

We will definitely be playing two qualifiers in June, as there are ten match days for the qualifiers and Spain can only play their eight games in the eight dates they’re not playing in the Nations League Finals.
Not necessarily we will only require 8/10 match days , so we may be sitting out 1 of the 2 June dates .

Guess a 5 team group will mean we play some friendlies.
Couldplay June friendlies against wales and England
-
With it being a five team group does that automatically mean we are sitting out June with , Spain in the nations league finals or could we be sitting out a different match day
-
At least we know we won’t be playing Spain in June
-
Doesn’t anymore think gilmour will have to go on loan again in January , doesn’t look like he will get very much gametime at Brighton apart from the odd injury time runout.

Rangers have been competitive in the Europa in recent seasons .
Both are hopelessly out of their depth in the champions league and both will be bottom of their groups .
nothing changes from that game despite Celtic apparently “controlling” the game we were told
-
Last night was a bit of a stroll for Liverpool .
However why it did take until 80th minute before rangers had a go and realised that this is Liverpool side in transition and in regression .
i am not certain they will be in the top 4
nothing annoys me than the we can’t compete routine that both of them play in europe , when fans of the other 10 have put up with this for over 30 years now.
I think this season proves that the we need to be in the champions league to get some doings from both of them , shows it’s not the level for them , especially when both will likely finish bottom of the groups,
yes we are getting the benefit of rangers runs in europe last few years , but both are out their depth in the champions league.
Celtic are their “quality” would be taking the same hidings in rangers group,
-
Lots of “home” fans
-
Fingers crossed for tonight but it’s a very makeshift side with so many missing
-
They are physically stronger than us which is worrying
-
We have another 72 minutes of Gary Breen that won’t help
-
Gary breen is back unfortunately
-
Happy to hold my hand up and say I was happy to be proved wrong this evening re dykes and the result
-
Mctominay is in central defence to no great surprise . It’s Clarke’s inflexibility that will ultimately see him out the door

Would need to be Hickey at left back over Taylor for his height and physicality. I’d have McTominay in midfield, that would add more height and if that wasn’t enough you could put Dykes up front instead of Adams. But yeah the lack of height would be a disadvantage. But his reading of the game, his leadership, passing etc would more than make up for it.
Dykes is absolute mince though and if we were relying him to any degree we are in real trouble.

The problem is that if uefa come down heavy if there any “issues” regarding this
Turkey (Turkiye?) squad

Was never going to achieve much this friendly , loads of players not interested , no Celtic players .
the timing rubbed home not going the World Cup.
too many playing that don’t play much club football
