  1. I have 5 pubs/restaurants booked for Friday the 18th and I got an email yesterday from the white horse to advise no Scotland supporters will be allowed in even with a booking.  I then contacted the other 4 and only 2 are gonna let us in...... I was totally pissed off and did say they should have made this clearer as I would have been very disappointed.  Im lucky I have a ticket but if I did not there is no way I'd be going down.... I suspect there will be many pissed off fans either stating around London trying to find somewhere or watching from their hotel rooms.  I would urge anyone with bookings for pubs to contact them to double check they will be accepted.

    No it doesn’t.

Thank you for this info, I could not find it but now I have ordered my test.  Thank God my friend brought it up about it being needed for the England game @ Middlesbrough.  He said they were fairly strict with this but not so much showing any Id.  Also there was no Food Kiosk open and people were allowed in with unopened bottle but were made to throw them away if they were opened.  There was no pat down's but small bags were being checked (for alcohol etc) and tables were set out for you to empty the bags upside down and put your own belongings back in.

  3. Does anyone know if we need to produce a lateral flow test to obtain enter at Wembley?

My English colleague was at Middlesbrough for the last English home friendly and had to produce one and is under the belief this has to be done for our game at Wembley.  He has got me concerned as I have not ordered any but I also cannot see anything on the UEFA or SFA website to advise this will be needed.

I hope I'm panicking about nothing but any advise would be appreciated.

How can the SSC process a refund if the ticket was bought directly from UEFA?

Valid point i never thought of,  I suspect if he can't pass his phone onto whom wants the ticket and he can't go then it would be an empty seat.

11-11.30 entry for the czech game. Anyone got any sneaky tactics of getting drink in? Thinking a mid size hand sanitizer filled with vodka and getting soft drinks in there due to the potential there might be a frisk search on the day. Or there may be no search due to fear of covid?

I was thinking of sneaking a hip flask in but was a little wary of potentially getting caught,  but i never even thought of the fact with all these restrictions how can they expect to pat down 12,000 that steward could have touched 300 people before i enter and i ain't to comfortable with that.

Anyone know how to transfer a mobile ticket? I will not be able to make the Croatia game now due to a work thing. I bought my tix through travel club and it says they’re non transferable, but terms n conditions state that it can be done if sick. Anyone tried this?

If you bought through the UEFA Ballot you can transfer your ticket,  As you procured through the SSC the ticket is non transferable.  Albeit you can get in touch with the SSC as in this case they are the official national participating nation direct to see if they would take it back and offer you a full refund. as each fan club for each different country will follow different principles and rules this is a way out for UEFA to not get involved in last minute changes.

It would be worth phoning/emailing the SSC and they would potentially refund you and re-issue the ticket to someone on enough points/waiting queue.  I lost out on a couple ballot(s) before and at a later date phoned to ask if they have had any refunded tickets and been successful.

If you only want to transfer to a family/friend member it would be risky encase they check the passport or Id's match up and you look different or it is a Steward actually taking it serious,  Also you may have to potentially give him/her your phone for the day to get into the match to use the App.

Alternatively PHONE A SICKIE, TAKE A SLAP ON THE WRISTS AND ENJOY LIFE.

  7. For Wembley 2 of us are in block 546 and entry is 6 - 6:30 ( as an optimist I hope with a lot of people being in early it will add to the atmosphere in the build up to KO.)

I saw a couple people post they were in the lower tier, anyone else in or around block 546?

Need to somewhere with fellow scotland fans close-ish to Wembley for before the match (not to watch it).

Anyone have any availability? Just me and one mate heading down. Be in Kilts if dress code is a thing ;)

    Happy to pay entry/ticket ofcourse.

I'm actually meeting up with a couple English friends whom are in the FA travel club,  he is the organiser for 5-6 of his group and he has 5-6 pubs booked for me and my bro on the day of the game.  He says he has never see so many places fully booked or operating a time limit or limited tables.  There usual gathering ground is not doing anything for the game which is highly unusual and he has advised to stay away from trafagular square and the city center.. A couple of the places he has booked are restaurants on Wembley boulevard as it is likely to be timed entry for all of us and he suggests many of these restaurants are more bar feel on match day.  It also means only a 10 min walk to stadium if we all have different entry times.  I remember last time we met in crystals for a sing song and good drink but I believe this has been booked by England fans this time.

    Hope this helps

There’s no way the SSC should ever be turning away tickets.

    Its literally their job.

Even if UEFA have spares they should be coming to the SSC for allocation right up to KO.

I can get up to Glasgow the next day.

There is no proof they have and I until I see it,  my gut tells me they wouldn't.  I'm pretty sure they would want as, many of us there as possible.  And uefa would want them sold as their income is already drastically down.

It might have seemed "fairer" to folk on low points but maybe not so much by folk who had over 13 points. The word fair means different things to different folk. They stuck to the SSC rules that we all signed up for. Can't say fairer than that.

I think the SFA have done well and conducted the tickets in the right way with the limited powers they have had.  I do understand peoples disappointment as pre covid alot more would have been rewarded. It should hopefully encourage higher attendance home matches going forward as i suspect in tournaments to come going to these alone will guarantee a tournament ticket.  I was on 13 points, 1 for renewing, 10 for last 10 home games and 2 points for attending away game to Belgium.  None of it has cost me an arm and a leg and the 5 match package was very competitively priced in my opinion. the most expensive was the away game but ticket, accommodation + travel cost approx £150 and a futher £80 on food and beverages.

I have Wembley and Croatia and look forward to a very coarse voice and the inevitable emotional roller coaster.  I'm 36 and this is my 1st ever Euro game in 98 i was 14 and can remember the buzz watching it in the local bowling club.

So grealish foden sancho kane dcl sterling Greenwood rashford saka aren't anything to be afraid of? Everyone of those players would not only walk into ur side but be ur star player. Anyway I'm done on here till we play u then I'm fucking off permanently.  I hope we give u cunts a good hammering (This isn't aimed at u personally taylor)

Its the hope i live for its what makes being a SSC member great!!  simply looking at which team looks the best on paper then England would have won a couple world cups and 3 to 4 Euro's.  You are correct 9 out of 11 would start in our team but id rather live in hope and excitement than in a delusional state where i go on other FA's message boards to state how great my team is...

Hears today the SFA were offered 800 tickets through through week; didn't want the admin in having to co-ordinate it.

Whom or what is your source for this? I feel it is harsh to throw this at the ssc staff without sharing your proof? I also see no benefit to them to do this.. I have to be honest my brother has his points incorrect and I had a problem with password and both times in the last 2 weeks the SSC customer service has been top notch.

  14.                                                                                     Marshall

                                                                         Cooper      Gallagher           Tiernay

                                                    Paterson                                                                                   Robertson

                                                                 Mctominay                        Gilmour

                                                                                        Mcginn

                                                                               Adams                      Dykes

I'd start with this team v Holland and change Mcgochlan for Marshall,  turnbull for Mcginn,  Taylor for Robertson (also move tiernay to LWB) O'donnell for Paterson Mcgregor for Gilmour,  Turnbull for Mcgill,  Adams for Christie, Dykes for Nisbet for Luxemborg.

Does it say that in the terms and conditions? I had a quick look but couldn't find it.

I don't know if it states it in the T&C's but on this post or another on the TAMB someone posted an email from the SFA which stated this.  Also speaking to some old timers they also confirmed this was the case in 96 and previous tournaments.

Will be interesting to seehow these matches count for the points table.ie last 10 home and away matches. All 3 games are officially away matches .but will SFA count the Hampden matches as "home games" or will in effect these games not be coumted at all since the SFA probs wont have access to data on those who actually got a ticket through UEFA.

There are no points awarded through the SSC points scheme for attending a major tournament fixture.

  17. I just checked and I'm on 13 points so 2,439 people are either on 13 points or more in the SSC.  I personally hope all tickets Uefa sold (Ex corporate and sponsorship) are refunded back and the SFA allocate the tickets so everyone whom has signed up to the SSC membership are if possible given 1 ticket each for 1 of the 3 games and then any left over should be given to those with the most points to attend 2 possibly 3 games.  If everyone whom wanted a ticket got one for one of the group games and we made to 2nd round then I would revert to the points system.

If done this way I see the Pro's are everyone whom joined up to the SSC membership being rewarded and I would like to think many people would re-join and potentially it would grow again as other would see the benefit.  After such a tough year it would give everyone a lift.  Also it gets as many fans to see the team live as possible.

The down side is that those with the most points potentially losing out on attending all the games they would want to and they have put in the hard time and money to get in that position.  The other downside is those that purchased tickets a via Uefa would not be disappointed after paying 2 years ago.

There is not 1 situation where everyone is going to be happy and the decision will be unpopular with someone.

Sounds like a few emails will be going out in coming weeks to tell people about their refund for their cancelled tickets.

This looks like great news for those of us whom are within 1-10 ish points,  In my opinion this seems like common sense is being used. I think it is the fairest way as those points have been challenging to rack up and feel those of us that have been attending home games to get 1 pt and an away game to get 2 pts over a long lasting period of time are getting some reward of our SSC membership.
