As I said earlier in this topic, they only way the other nations should have taken part is if they ganged up and said no to London stadiums, no matches in England after group stages, and all QF, SF and Final in Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
However I suspect that didn't have the backbone and happy accepting the crumbs..

As the SSC membership allows for free tickets to women's internationals, if they held it at smaller grounds they may have to refuse entry if there is a big uptake.
Then members would be complaining.

South Africa v England was day after our game. The SA rugby team were in our hotel, and we bought a few of them lunch in the bar, on the understanding that they stuffed England..
They won 36 - 0...

Got flights booked to Madrid on the Wednesday...will then get a train to the venue.
Will worry about flights back when venue and following weeks friendly announced..

Only £11 if anyone wants to take a chance....better than forking out £90..

Happy with him getting a new contract, I can't see him leaving to go anywhere else.
However, I do hope he brings in fresh assistants occasionally for a different perspective and new ideas to the group..

The Spanish have moved their Cyprus game back a day from Sept 11th to 12th. I didn't know you could do that. I thought the dates were set by uefa.
I'm following three Spanish official Twitter accounts waiting for our confirmation to finalise booking...

Just saw something about this. The National Stadium in Tbilisi is being renovated for the U21 Euros in June/July. So I imagine they will be back to playing there by November.
Makes sense. Norway game is in March so Tbilisi not ready by then.
I am booked to Tbilisi, and would not have time to get to Batumi and back...

I'm expecting it to be either Seville or Malaga. No sure where I'd prefer but both will be easy enough to get to!
They play Norway in malaga, so doubt they would have two games there.
Seville seems the only logical choice.

Maybe they were returning all the tickets that the SFA are putting on sale next week...

Yeah , they seem to have said previously that two of the four games would be in Andalusia , with the game in Malaga v Norway that would suggest us in the south too . They've played in Cadiz , Granada and Almeria though so it doesn't have to be Seville
All too small probably..less than £25k. They have only played North Macedonia and San Marino at these places..minimal away fans.
Flights to Seville now getting very expensive!!!!

Only a couple of hours each...

Got return flights to Tbilisi for about £250 last week.
EDI - BER - ATH - TBI.

I hope it is not Batumi....my flight leaves Tbilisi at 5.40am after the match!!

Any chance that someone can update the Away Games section for this year's games....no one is discussing Ireland away last June anymore!!!
It would make it easier to discuss travel plans for each of the upcoming games...

The SFA should grow a pair, and tell the FA we are only getting involved if nothing is in London, all knockouts are at the other nations and England can have some group games in the north or midlands

Had to revert back to Alba commentary, as there was no crowd noise on English commentary .....sounded like they were in a closed box

Noticed today that we were 40 in the FIFA World Rankings, so checked if we had a thread on it.
Found this from 4 years ago , and were 39 then.
I thought we were getting better recently, obviously not......

I'm sure I read that the Queen was patron of the SFA. I presume it is in that capacity that they are requesting a minute's silence/applause ...

Would doubt they would play in Diyarbakir. It is the capital of the Kurdish region and currently a lot of political tensions there....
-
Maybe if they are not expecting a full house, it will be pay at the gate...old school!! 😄

Apparently the away end accommodates 1057 fans with a separate entrance...

Every time I see a new reply on this topic, I get excited that we have finally got a confirmed venue.....
Spanish home end
in Spain v Scotland

Surely the Spanish want to announce the game, sell 60,000 tickets, and get a few million euros in their bank account.
They are losing out by delaying.
As far as I know Spanish football isn't exactly awash with cash, most of the clubs are heavily in debt...
