Scotland 0 - 1 Denmark. 21st Aug 2002. Was 15 and went with the school. Berti's first home game in charge. Star striker Kevin Kyle up front. Was genuinely gutted and from that moment on was hooked because I wanted to have that buzz of seeing Scotland score a goal in a big game that really mattered. So far only really created when Barry Ferguson equalised against Italy and when Shaun Maloney scored against Ireland.

Excelled for Scotland but not so much at Club level: Kinda have to put James McFadden into that group. I know he had injuries at Everton and Birmingham City. And..... a few stellar performances in Claret and Amber. But when he played in dark blue he was nothing short of miraculous and if he played like that consistently he could have won major trophies North or South of the border.
