Staying at the Avalon House hostel. Looks cheap & cheerful. Let's be honest, all we need is a bed!! ?? 4 nights with return flights from/to Gatwick - £122 each.

We are on that Friday flight outta Gatwick too. Maybe meet in Wetherspoons for a quick pint before boarding?

I'm flying back to Southampton 0700 Friday morning to pick up my pals & our missus' before traveling to Gatwick for our flights to Faro Friday lunchtime..

I've a Pompey Tartan Army flag that I take to games. My pals have come to a couple of games with me & will be in Dublin/Faro next year but I usually travel 'billy no mates' to home games & meet people I know once I'm in Glasgow. I think there are a couple of others from here too but have not had a chance to catch up with them yet.

Just sitting here thinking about what qualification for France 2016 will mean to me if we can successfully negotiate our group. I'm 42 years old and actually being with Scotland at a major championships is about the last thing to tick off on my footballing bucket list. I was in the Royal Navy for 9 years so missed all 3 that i could have gone too. Basic training scuppered Italia '90, my 3rd Gulf trip sunk Euro '96 and a Balkans trip shipwrecked France '98 ( see what I did there!!!!) I spent my first 17 years pretty much watching Celtic everywhere so have done most of the grounds in Scotland. I've traipsed around Europe with them & seen them play in some magnificent arena's (and a few shitey ones too) and seen them in a European final. My son was born in Portsmouth & from the outset I was adamant he would support his local side so over the course of 15 years I've taken him all over England across all 4 leagues watching Pompey and I only have Sheffield Wednesday, Port Vale, Huddersfield & Rotherham to do and I'll have done all 92 league grounds. So back to Scotland. Trips to Dublin & Faro are sorted already and hopefully the charter to Tiblisi comes off to save the hassle of arranging that one myself and everytime I think of Scotland and the games we still have to play I get excited and scared in equal measure - Like everyone else I want us to qualify for France 2016 so bad its almost painful. The teams maturing into a side we can all really be proud of, In wee Gordon Strachan we trust and everyone's buzzing again. We'll soon be back at Hampden for the remaining qualifiers having taken maximum points at home so far. Is this it, could this really be our time? So many if, buts and maybe's! Yes Im enjoying the ride but the expectation and anticipation is killing me too!! No pressure Scotland - but you know what, I'll love my country no matter what happens!

Love this uncomplicated route!! Mines a wee bit similar! Portsmouth > Southampton. Southampton > Gasgow Charter flight from Glasgow to Tiblisi & return with Germany game before flights back to Southampton Although if ma pals are going for 2/3 days I might be tempted to do it that way instead.... Just have to be back for the Germany game!

Finally got round to booking this one. 6 of us travelling. Staying in Albufeira 9th-14th. £190 for 5 nights including flights Should be a good few days away wie ma pals!

How long does it take to update the points table & our individual accounts? Unless I'm looking in the wrong place, it's still only showing Germany as the last away game played & my Poland points not been added to my account yet. Just curious.
