I think the problem is that JD have exclusive rights now and Score Draw are just running down their stock, I'd be delighted if you found out different though as I've been after the 82 trackie top for ages.I'll look into this. Some friends and I got together and ordered some stuff from Score Draw a while ago. By the time we all ordered bits and pieces, they threw in free shipping. I could see if it would be worthwhile getting an order sent to Australia, then sending people there jerseys from here. Could be a way of exploiting a loophole. I could have a look at Toffs too, in case anyone wants to order some of the shirts that they don't sell in to UK customers.
Added the 78 trackie top to the collection this week which is a belter.

Naismith yes, Griffiths I'm not so sure.Strachan just sticks with players too long
that's why Fletcher plays
Griffiths and Naismith could equally play up on their own
-
I'd agree that they all looked rusty, Hutton seemed a bit sharper against Germany though.Neither do I, although I would have started Whittaker ahead of Hutton in Georgia and probably had Shinnie at left back. If there's one thing I hope Strachan has learned from that double header it's that you need to pick players who are playing regularly. Naismith, Fletcher and Hutton all looked off the pace.
I'd like to see Calum Paterson get a call up to get him around the squad, i could see him replacing Hutton long term.
After Naismith's hat trick fingers crossed he gets game time.
-
I don't blame Strachan for any of his selections thus far, I do however think he really needs to get the Poland one right or face a bit of a backlash.
If Steven Fletcher played every game from now until 8th October and tucked a couple of goals is happily see him start up from for us but it was so evident in both games he's lost his sharpness.

Indeed it is, love this one. This is more the style you're after ?

Along with the 82 track top is a classic.

The only thing I'd add though, is it purely a Scottish issue or indeed a British one?
Some of our most talented youngsters have gone to England at an early stage of their career and have subsequently stalled.
It's arguable that they haven't improved much despite being in the EPL and being coached by supposedly world class coaches.

I very much doubt that would happen, he strikes me as the kind of player that takes his country very seriously.Agree, wonder whether he will chuck it after the Euros rather than jet about without getting a game at the age he is.
Being that he's a regular in the BPL it is a bit bizarre that he's not a first pick, I'd still have him before Brown.

Finally got to the bottom of this.
Score Draw still exist and trade but no longer have the license to use the Scotland badge(the current one)JD have sole exclusivity to this.
The annoying thing is, JD could produce decent retro gear but all they have is a pretty average 74 style top which isn't any better than the one we got from the travel club last year.
Campo have a couple of retro bits available but it features the old style badge.

Brodies in Kirkcaldy.

Exactly, a bit last chance saloon for him.Interesting move. Will certainly give us the opportunity to determine once and for all what potential he has/had...
-
JD will just have the new ones if any.
I always liked this bizarre looking one...

It's annoying as I was actually on my way to the checkout in Burtons with a couple in my hand years ago and got summoned by the Mrs who was trying gear on downstairs in Dorothy Perkins.Read the title of this and thought it was a prediction for Friday night!
On the subject of the retro tops did purchase the old 60's style one from burtons myself and I too have been looking for another one to add to the collection.
Can't believe the irony that companies will sell retro Scorland tops and not send them to Scotland. Big money obviously made selling them to expats
Next time I went in they were all gone.
There's money to be made in it for someone.

They've got a limited amount of the Score Draw shirts as well, very few left.www.camporetro.com might be worth a look
Not the 82 trackie top though.
I can only think it must be a copyright/licensing issue with the SFA that stopped production as they were always good sellers.
-
Does anyone know what became of their Scotland retro range?
I recall a few years back Burtons was full of the stuff and I foolishly never bought the 82 Trackie top which I love.
Sports Direct seem to be running down their limited stock and Retro Shirt Haven were planning to do the 86 away top until they had issues with the SFA over the 82 home shirt they reproduced.
I've emailed Score Draw themselves a few times but no reply.

If Fletcher doesn't make it, it would open up some interesting permutations actually(as long as Martin wasn't a direct replacement, which would be disastrous.)
I'd like to see Naismith as the lone striker which then would open up a berth for Maloney or maybe even Armstrong behind the striker.
I'd be looking to wind down Hutton's international career now really, great servant but so many club managers haven't rated him.
Whittaker has started the season really well, I'd put him in his place.
Longer term though I think it'd be hard for Strachan to ignore Calum Paterson if he continues to shine in a successful Hearts side.

We'll be travelling Belfast to Dublin and return.
-
Anyone on the 810 GLA-BEL flight on Friday? Meeting mates in Dublin. Anyone fancy some banter on plane/train?
We're flying Edi-Bel so may be getting train to Dublin at a similar time?
-
We've bought 6 this morning. Great to have tickets sorted this early
-
Booked flights Edinburgh to Belfast and return. Fly out 7am on the Friday, come back Sunday afternoon.
Small matter of a 2 and a bit hour train from Belfast to Dublin but can live with that.

We just booked a 4 bed room at the Dublin International Hostel, 150 notes for 2 nights. That'll do for me, pretty central and considerably cheaper than any hotels that are left.
