  1. You accuse me of being a "West Brit" for not liking the singing of the national anthem in English. You're very hypocritical
  2. I can't stand Ireland's Call. FYI "my type" would prefer if the national anthem was sung in Irish, not English.
  3. The FAI will give you 7,000 tickets or so. All of the north stand and half of the west lower.
  4. I'm still laughing at some of you thinking Celtic Park is our spiritual home. Please don't think we're all mad Celtic in the "Republic". We couldn't care less if it's in Parkhead or Murrayfield.
  5. It's not our spiritual home. For Irish people our spiritual home is Croke Park or Lansdowne Rd
  6. And no doubt once you come to Lansdowne Rd you'll be in the home end which you're more than likely to. You're only getting 2,400 tickets for the game in Dublin so there'll be plenty of you in with us lot. Just like there'll be plenty of us with you in three weeks time.
  7. www.poloconghaile.com/10-best-old-dublin-pubs/ I'd advise everyone to drink a few pints in these pubs. All in great locations oozing with characther and charm. These places are where the Irish will drink. Avoid heading to tourist traps like Temple Bar and gives these bars a try
  8. The Brazen Head. It dates back to 1198 so old to say the least!
  9. Yeah there'll be zero issue. Tickets usually go on sale on ticketmaster.ie about three months before the match.
  10. On the subject of "Plastic Paddies" and all that. I've zero issue with people of Irish descent supporting the Boys in Green as their country. I've zero issue once they behave appropriatly and represent the country well. If I come across a Glaswegian in a Celtic jersey singing our national anthem in English i'll just roll my eyes. If they put the green Irish jersey on and mix with us without bringing their Celtic baggage with them then fair enough There are plenty of people in Britain who are born and brought up feeling Irish though. My own aunt and uncle, both doctors moved to Chesire in the early eighties and brought up their three kids there. If you told my three cousines they were English or British they'd quickly tell you they're Irish. 2 of them moved to Dublin once they finished Uni.
  11. Just from seeing who's buying tickets from ybig.ie on the the SFA website I reckon there'll be at least 7,000 Irish fans inside the ground.
  12. The order of popularity is as follows Gaelic Football Hurling Soccer Rugby
  13. Is a goal in the 7th minute less lucky than a goal in the 93rd? I don't see the difference personally. Was Scotland's goal against Georgia lucky?
  14. You finished on 11 points last year and lost to Wales twice, scored a last minute goal against Macedonia and recently won with a scrappy goal against Georgia yet you all still think you'll beat Ireland and we're lucky. "Dont give me that nonsense"
  15. Exactly. If you don't like Celtic then old Helen Donegan seems to think you're a West Brit. She's cringeworthy
  16. Zero issue getting in there afer gaelic football matches with the jersey on
  17. I do know what Jackeen means. What has that got to do with Dubliners in this day and age?
  18. And can you speak it? Why do you keep bringing politics into everything? So you're saying being from your capital city is worse than being a West Brit? You're a lovely lady alright.
  19. For your information i'm from Dublin. What has that got to do with anything? I speak fluent Irish too. Can you Donegan?
