  1. Funking shite. Perhaps its always that bad but the crowd make it seem much better

Jeezo. 10 or 15 yrs ago we had a much poorer team on paper, a couple of decent players but most making up numbers. Now we have a substantial number of Premier league players and other "top" players . It really hasn't improved at all . I'd prefer to watch the lower league triers of 10 years ago

It has been revelatory. The fans make the games. Yet they are the ones paying through the nose to overpay a bunch of wankers just to watch them. It is mad.

The fans are the most undervalued part by a long way and these wildly overpaid players are all deserving a huge pay cut and the fans a big reduction in ticket prices.

    100%. Haven't watched a game since lockdown

It seems to be creeping in. I had a relative in their mid eighties go to their GP with a blocked ear just before Covid closed everything down and they were told that this was not done on the nhs now and they had to go somewhere else who charged them 30 quid for it. WTF is going on. Stealth privatisation under the SNP?

Well I had that done recently. Seems many receptionists like to play god

    Strange priority.
I think people in their 70’s and 80’s who are travelling abroad at this time might have more to worry about than filling in a form.

See this is the mad bit. My neighbours are old (70s and near 80 with heart problems..serious) and they've been very lax, meeting other elderly friends with virtually zero distancing from day 1. My household is one oldish git and 2 youngters and we've been 100% sensible.

    Don't get it.

Though I have to say the obvious difference is that we are surrounded by English retirees who interpret rules in a different  way to.us.

I think a lot of it comes down to common sense. What is sensible to do, will be different in different locations. Down where you are, I'm guessing is more densely populated than most parts of Scotland and so social distancing will be a wee bit more difficult. I just hope that the police act responsibly with any new powers they are given. We all know that there are some polis who just love to demonstrate their new power to the public as soon as they get a chance to. There is no reason why folk living in, say Cupar, shouldn't drive to tentsmuir and go for a walk in the forest or the beach. That must be less likely to spread the virus than wandering about the streets of somewhere like Glasgow. If they get there and find the car park jam packed they should just drive somewhere else.

That was my thinking at first but I suspect they want as few people driving at all to reduce accident risk?

Our posties are doing a grand job. When are they going to get a clap?

I read one study, using a different coronavirus, which suggested it could remain viable on a surface for up to 9 days depending on conditions. They gave an average range of a few hours up to 5 or 6 days. I suppose it might depend on how much slavers he transferred to each envelope? Hope you've had your dinner.:barf:

Virus no bad enough without them getting the clap as well?
