Listened to it today. I find him very balanced though I could have gladly strangled pompous Steve from Chester with his UJ . Quoting Orwell on nationalism whilst proudly telling everyone how British he is and only identifies with the British flag.

He was an 'interesting' one. IIRC, he said some things which were understanding of Scottish independence as well.

  2. Stephen Flynn asked Sunak about his Russia/Iran/North-Korea/Scotland comment during PMQ's today.

Sunak denied he had said what he said and then gave the SNP some verbal. He didn't actually answer the question he was asked.

Pricks like Johnson and Sunak never answer the question they've been asked so, what is the f*cking point in PMQ's and why does the speaker allow the PM to to do that? They should be forced to answer the question.

Yes, it’s a small amount in comparison to the UK population, but as you also point it, it’s half of Scotland. If ever proof was needed that the people of Scotland are a bit part in this supposed union then that is it. 50% of the entire population of Scotland  are an extremist fringe group according to the PM of Britain..Just think about that .

Good for James Obrien. Highlighting something that any objective media outlet would. BBC and the rest of them should be ashamed.

The 2nd hour of James O'Brien's show was dedicated to this today.

It's available in the catch-up section of the LBC app.

It looks like the view map options disappeared altogether. Did anyone see their Hungary ticket show up?

Haven't been able to see the seat map for quite a few days now.

Hungary was never visible to me.

A good model for the cup would be copying Germany where the lower ranked club in most rounds when the draw is made can give up home advantage for safety, financial gain. Say Basingstoke were to draw Southampton, Winklebury is no where near good enough to accommodate that fixture, Basingstoke could switch to St Mary's and still be classed as the home team in the draw.

I saw FC Kray (a team in Essen) play Rot-Weiss Essen. This was the same week Scotland last played in Dortmund.

Kray had somehow found themselves in the same league as Rot-Weiss and Kray were officially the home team, but the match was played a Rot-Weiss.

    Kray smashed them 4-2

    Why do you think that?

I support a non league team in England so I'm coming from that side. A replay against a championship or EPL side for a non league, league two or one side could be a once in a lifetime event and that's before we discuss the financial reasons.

I like the idea of a cup being drastically different to the league.

In the league, you can put things right the next week. I don't think you should be able to do that in a cup.

A cup is supposed to be a knock-out tournament and I think having "One chance... Just one chance" and taking it would be even more romantic; even more dramatic.

I understand what you mean about the financial rewards foe smaller clubs, but I think it should all be down to fate and the luck of the draw. This year it might at your place, but next year it might be Old Trafford.

    Dortmund is a hole.

I'm going to defend Dortmund. I've been twice and have had some memorable nights there.

Like Kaunas in Lithuania, one of those places where you need to have done your homework on where to go.

They're not having a pick up at the ground though , that complicates it

The stadium is surely the only logical collection point; what with the fans being spread out across Faro, Albufeira, Vilamoura, etc...

Furthermore, it won't take long to dish them out (what with the low attendance) and there's f*ck all to do around the stadium anyway. Just a swally in a queue.

Seating map still available. Seems to only work for certain internet browsers though (try Chrome as can see it there).

Strange. I'm on the same as yesterday.

  10. Aye, seating map for Munich and Cologne gone this morning.

Hopefully it was just a test and will be re-jigged (I wasn't entirely pleased with what I was allocated).

  11. Wee bit disappointed with Munich.

5th row, half-way between corner flag and the penalty area.

View From My Seat website shows there are fences at that end.

When I chose my Cologne ticket, I expected to be in the upper tier behind the goal.

However, I'm on the side (back row) and perfectly in line with the goal line.

Looks like I am 1 seat away from a 'higher' price category.

  12. For me, the Germany and Switzerland matches show where you click on the stadium map.

Cologne identifies my block in green, but I don't have a green block for Munich......... ?!?!

  13. Think it might be a knee.

Commentary team on the Southampton match (including a former player) said it looked bad for Armstrong.

Some folk on here were writing Armstrong off a wee while ago. The way things are going he could turn out to be one of our most important players in Germany.

    Southampton fans love Stuart Armstrong.

I also remember the commentary team on Radio Solent a couple of seasons ago (including Dave Merrington - the man who brought Le Tissier, Shearer, etc... through the youth system) finding it hard to comprehend how Armstrong rarely started for Scotland.
