do you know what the chances would be to purchase 20 odd tickets for a stag do? Would I need to go through the official site and purchase the same amount of memberships?

You'll be able to buy 20,000 mate, crowd will now be less than 18,000

  2. “IF” we get 6 points this week, and the Cyprus match then gives us the chance to go to 9 before going to Belgium, on a nice Saturday in early summer, many fans will see it as a bit of an end of football season day out on the booze then off to the match. Given the right circumstances we could get 40,000.

  3. Bought our couple of 5 match package tickets, as always make all the home games. Son’s mate who’s working away will be home for two of the games. Is there a “window / date”  where SSC Member can buy another ticket pre public sale ? Or is it just a case of waiting for Public Sale to get him a seat nearby us.

  4.  Merry Christmas All,

Looking through news before family descend for the day, and see Harry Kane is getting an OBE for his performances in the  World Cup. Now other than breaking my heart a year past June in the 5 minutes of ecstasy and misery I think the bloke comes over ok. He’s sounds a bit thick  but is passionate about playing for his country. This OBE / honours list has become a joke. 6 goals, 3 penalties, 2 one yard headers and a defłection off his heel he knew nowt about. His other contributions were zilch. Rant over have a great day

  5. I shouldn’t answer the question just now, having just finished work, in quite a good mood, looking forward to us doing something semi successful for a long time, heading through soon for a few pints before the game, but in a word YES. I said from the outset, this Mini League was massive to us and failure to win it was not an option. Fail and fall on your sword.

Hope we all enjoy a good result tonight, even Alex McLeish

  6. It will be our luck we win tomorrow and contrive to get Georgia in the Play Offs.

After all these qualifiers UEFA will produce a list grading every team from 1-55, I’m sure I seen a running total of it somewhere.

    Next to no chance....

Qualifiers on a Monday and Tuesday night against "lesser" opposition, be lucky if stadium is 2/3's full at best (Israel you will probably get half of Glasgow Uni out in protest if the Israel U21 game at Hamilton many years ago was anything to go by 😂), but should be fine for all the games.

John Feighery who works for us in Dublin refereed that match, he said there were as many protesters as supporters.

  8. I still don’t think too many folks have grasped that we are basically six matches away against similar or slightly lesser standard teams to ourselves from making Euro 2020.  It is so important to hit the ground running in September.

These four games in the Autumn and a Semi Final and Final against other pool C “mini league” winners in March 2020. This has to be our best chance of qualification, as I can’t see us being 1st or 2nd in our regular qualifiers in 2019.

If we did secure a Play Off Spot in March 2020 we might even go into the regular qualifiers with a bit less pressure on us knowing we had the Play Off tucked away as back up.

  9. Struggled to get tickets bought for the four games, and was only buying two per game.  Had wanted an extra two for Albania ( For Non Members ) but can't get these at this moment, then when you can they will have to be in a different section, thought members might have been able to buy a couple of extras for these low attendance matches.

  10. If we don't win our Nations League against Albania and Israel, and secure at least a March 2020 Playoff spot, the manager should be sacked before the regular Euro Qualifiers. No ifs, buts or maybees.

The March 2020 Play Offs i understood are a Semi Final then Final in one country for all the group A B C D group winners. 16 Teams. 8 Semi Finals, 4 Finals, over one week. Only Group A being Nations League Winner. Group B C D gaining place in Euro 2020.

In Euro 2020 Finals there are two matches at Hampden. If we qualify we will play in these two games at Hampden. There are also eight Matches at Wembley, two group matches, One QF,    One SF, and The Final. If England qualify they will play two group games at Wembley, and at least one QF or SF there should they get that far. IF  Scotland qualify, England will play their 3rd group match at Hampden, and Scotland will play another country at Wembley

If they start dishing out points for home games then it makes a mockery of the situation. There's nothing wrong with the away points structure as it is

I agree with you, but who would buy a season ticket based on this years home fixtures. I wasn't meaning a point per home game, but a point for a season ticket purchase. Who knows what they will announce

  12. They might sell memberships for travelling fans obtaining tickets / points, but I think they will find it hard to sell a season ticket package based on the fixtures we know about in 2018 and the main EURO QUALIFIERS won't be known till 2nd December. There may be some "Mini Season Ticket" for this year, I also think they might dangle one point if you buy into a season ticket ?

  13. Having started to have a look at this, come next September we really have got to hit the ground running and win our "mini league" of pool C teams in the 6 games played Sept-Nov. 2018  3 double headers. This is in effect is our route to playoffs in March 2020 when there will be a semi final and final between the pool C winning teams.  The regular sections where now only top two qualify start in March 2019 and are over and done by November 2019 ( 10 games in 6 months) all 5 double headers, qualification through this route is going to be a bit of a sprint.

On the plus side the pool C teams are all about our level. On the minus side there are loads of double headers and we are hopeless in the second games.

  14. We were fortunate to be leading 1-0 at Half Time, and should have been looking to replace two from Bannan McArthur and Phillips who had done nothing. After not getting to grips with the Slovenians at the start of the second half, we loose a goal from a set piece, Gordon, ( like the England game ) should have been off his line to punch that type of ball clear, if he gets clattered, he gets a foul. We only needed one of our three draws to have been a win and we'd at least have made the playoffs.
