Och away you go Nobby, the statement wasnt that you can tolerate it, it was that you want them to win.
I can tolerate it and I am perfectly balanced thank you, but I most certainly dont want England to win.

😂 fair enough, I likewise don’t want Scotland to win but should you win it doesn’t ruin my day 😉

😂 Well this thread has rapidly deteriorated.

Despite Ramy having a bit too much hatred for England I do find it strange that on a board for fans of the Scotland national team there are people who actually are happy for England to win. Definitely for the watchin those ones.

I would suggest that these people are sensible well adjusted beings that can tolerate another nation winning a 90 minute football match.

Just because I hate a certain country, their values, their customs, their arrogant ways, does not make me a bigot. A hateful prick mibbee, but no a bigot... Scotland Forever..🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I know I shouldn’t, but go on,hit me with it, what values ,customs and arrogant ways am I guilty of ? And could I suggest if you aware that you are being a “hateful prick” you might want to have a look at yourself. Not sure if you have kids but if one of them is behaving like a hateful prick you would correct them.

Agree mate. I have good mates that are english, I dont hate them all, just aboot 98% of them.. They are pure arrogant and think their shite dissnae stink, fuck off. I am a very proud and passionate Scotsman, and am well educated in the history of my country and what they bastards did to us, I will never forget. Even my wee Mum tells me to let it go, but I cannot. I would gladly give my life for Scotland in a heartbeat, and respecting those bastards is something that will never happen with me.. Its my right, and I will change for no man.... Scotland Forever  🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Ramy no offence mate but you are a bigot . To hate 98% of people of any country shows you up as a moron. Whisper it quietly , it might be coming home 😘

Fuck.....  forgot how much I hate playing "them".  Part of me scared we get beat 3-0. However there is always the hope we get something out the game and talk about it for 25 years.

    C'mon lads!

The feeling my friend is mutual 😘

Hype seems to be going through the roof here , they were competent nothing more.

Errr no it isn’t. Not one pundit has picked us to win it and we’ve just won our opening game nothing more than that. It was a deserved win.
    good luck tomorrow 😘

Its "Big Ramy" by the way. To answer your question, I have met plenty english. Over here in Ottawa, I play football, darts, drink in an Irish boozer. I have had many a run in with English. They are not all bad, but when the football is on, they truly show their arrogance, especially when Scotland is involved. As I said before numerous times, I have a couple very close english mates, love them, they know this, they also know my feelings on england.. I have been involved in punch ups defending Scotland to your lot. I dont take kindly to insults, maybe I got a bit over the top. Thing is, when you are not living in the country of your birth, and others feel the same, you feel that wee bit more patriotic. Over the years, in Ottawa anyway, I have not had too many pleasant experiences with folk from england. I dont like yees, never have, never will....

Empty vessels make the most noise but I suspect you know that 😉 England fans have had feck all to be arrogant about since 1966. Fair enough you don’t like us, that’s your prerogative. I’ve always prided myself on the ability to watch a game of football and treat it as just that , a game of football. Enjoy the tournament 😉

I don't for one minute believe it is reflective of the whole of England, and I wasn't suggesting it was. I am certain England's players and coaching staff won't be as arrogant, and neither will a large segment of the England support.

When I said "they" I meant the English press (I thought that was fairly obvious so I didn't bother clarifying). I don't imagine the broadsheets will be much better either, they'll just use longer words.

Fair enough 😉 I think big ramy should broaden his horizons and meet some English people we’re not all that bad 😉

They come out with this shite every time we're due to play them in a meaningful game.  Pretending they don't know who our players are when half our squad play in their country, and most of them in their top division, is just silly.

I agree with the premise that they should win, and probably will win, but if it wasn't Scotland there's no way they'd be so disrespectful.  I mean, how many of the Czech team are household names?

Just a point of order here if it’s the sun or talk sport I would hardly say they speak for the whole of England. To be fair I did laugh at “och aye the who” but if you read the sun what do you expect !

of course you have a chance to beat us but realistically you will be the underdog but that doesn’t mean you can’t win. That said I think we’ll edge it 😉

Anyone else see Chelsea v Man City at the weekend? If that's a foretaste of what is to come any super league won't last long because viewers will be bored to death.

and as for Spurs and Arsenal thinking they're big European clubs, that's laughable, neither side will finish in the top six in their own domestic league!

As a lifelong Spurs fan I couldn’t agree more. I hope they get kicked out of the premier league. I’ll stick to watching Southend. It’s a disgusting state affairs and all about greed. I’ve yet to speak to any fans who think this a good thing. I’ve a feeling they will come unstuck in a big way. Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa have more right to be there than Spurs

Personally I find it a little odd some of you are so fixated on Scotty and see him as some sort of representative of 'truthers' or just people who research and write about so called 'conspiracy theories'  (another astonishingly stupid and lazy phrase used continuously in a completely unthinking manner).

Do you want to know where Scotty gets all his 'conspiracy' stuff? Alex Mellonhead Jones.

I ask you would you bother your arse to tune into Alex Jones? over and over again... So why do you keep coming back to Scotty over and over, trying to have reasoned arguments or provoke a eureka moment? Seriously if the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result then you lads are off your fucking nut. He believes in a Flat Earth... that should have been enough.

If you spent the time looking into quality researchers on non mental subjects you'd realize some things are really not as they are presented. If someone is not paying Scotty to invoke ridicule and scorn they should be as he does a great job of it. And you guys are like a moth to that nutty light... a weird and nutty symbiotic relationship. :wink2:

Ive engaged with Scotty over the years and one thing i've learned is that he is firmly fixed in his beliefs, some of which I admit i find a tad off the wall. Overall however i dont think it can be argued that hes not a polite and caring individual and i believe he's done an awful lot of charity work for less advantaged individuals. Everyone has their moments on here when they probably should've put the drink down and gone to bed but some of the offensive name calling is bad form.

Scotty adds a level of colour to this place that would be sorely missed should he ever decide to quit the place .

in essence, crack on with it Scotty ;)

The archive board seems to have disappeared again. It contains Pistonbroke's thread that led to the whole thing unravelling; always worth a re-read so hope it's not gone for ever.

It was good but my absolute favourite was the bloke who asked the board to vote for a picture of his daughter holding a mulberry bag, it went proper mental with people hijacking tamb usernames and posting rude comments on the magazine website. im sitting here laughing about it now😁

    Certainly not the conservatives.

If I were in England I'd vote Labour.

That's the problem, a lot of people wont. I'm from a family of pretty  much lifetime labour voters not one of us would vote for a Corbyn Labour party this time round . I wouldn't trust him with the budget for my xmas party let alone the country.  My sister is voting conservative which is a first in her lifetime !!

That doesn’t apply to their logic because there was only a handful of people caught up in it. I pointed this out to folk on Facebook last night and the response was “it’s hardly the same, it’s only a few people”

When I asked the guy if racism was ok if it’s only a small group, he skimmed answering it every time and mentioned something else.

If they want to boot out teams with racist fans, Bulgaria and England would be a good starting point. The media completely ignore their own scumbags though, it’s pointless even discussing it with the deluded cunts.

Ill answer it for you, No Racism is never acceptable regardless of the number of people involved. The England away support has a number of morons just as i suspect Scotland does although Ill give you ours are far greater in number.

The hypocrisy of this is comical. Yes the Bulgarians have an element of racist wankers, but for the English to act like victims, and morally superior is comical. The English fuckers were doing Nazi salutes earlier.

Piers Morgan should STFU as well.

Not totally sure how "the English" have tried to be morally superior. The reaction to nazi salutes and monkey chanting is justified imho. I didnt see any english fans doing nazi salutes last night. If there are photos, videos etc of English fans behaving  like that last night share it with Piers i'm fairly certain he'll condemn it. Last night the Black English players were victims of racism of that there is no doubt

What will divide the ruling SNP government during independence negotiations in the same way that the Irish border and the SM/CU has divided the Tory party?

The idea that the SNP would lose their Holyrood majority because some MSPs defected to unionist parties over, say, the currency or asset/debt plan is a bit ridiculous. The Tory party is stacked full of remainers. There are no unionists on the SNP benches.

I never said the snp would be divided. The country could well be though, unless it’s a thumping majority for yes. Like I said my old man is thinking of voting Tory ! Strange times !!

You are right, both sides have been guilty . However any decent PM would have responded saying Jo Cox’s death was a tragedy,  agreed that politicians have a duty to act in a responsible manner and to ensure their words are not inciting  violence. His actual response was that of a selfish oaf.

Had an extreme Indy supporter murdered a unionist MP days before the Scottish  referendum  I doubt we would have been allowed to proceed with it, or at the very least it would have been pointless having it. The outrage from Unionists would have been off the scale and every nationalist branded a potential violent psychopath.  .

So I doubt the scenario you describe would be applicable 😉

For the avoidance of doubt, I'm not proposing any scenario other than a yes independence vote potentially being overuled. Which is a plausible scenario given the shite fest that the leave EU vote has become.  I suspect in the event of a yes vote referendum a very similar scenario will play out . The outrage from yes voters would be palpable and rightly so. So why should people who voted leave feel any different ?

Parliament was a bear pit on Tuesday and I'm certain Johnson has rightly called her death a tragedy when it happened, but sorry he didn't bring it up in that debate. Jo Cox's constituency voted leave by  quite a margin so why is what he said so wrong ? They are all as bad as one another. Using this as a stick to beat him is just the pot having a go at the kettle.

It isn't difficult to leave. Never has been. Invoke article 50, then leave two years later. Easy. It's the Tories who have made it difficult. Nobody else.

You would think so wouldn't you . I must've imagined Labour playing party politics as half of them wanted to leave and the other half didnt.  For the record I voted remain, to say however that's is just the Tories who have made it difficult to leave is laughable. Currently the labour position is, 1. Win a general election when they think they have a chance (not yet though 😉 ), 2. Go to Brussels and negotiate a super duper leave deal. 3. come back and Labour  MPs campaign for which one takes their fancy, 4. Let the electorate decide in another vote.

We had the vote, remain lost.  When my old man who has been a trade unionist labour supporter all his life, is talking about voting tory you know the world is a fecked up place !!
