I had 2 tickets in my basket today (Germany and Hungary) totalling £600.
I removed them, can't justify paying that to watch a football match.
Hoping for something in UEFA ballot, but does anyone know if it'll be the same deal with the most expensive tickets left??
Very unlikely to get them. The applications are massive.
however if you did get them then it’s likely 400/600€ for Germany and €200 for Hungary.
reason being - if you look at the stadium map the sections behind goals are the cheaper seats and they were given to the associations.
Most ballot tickets are at the sides which are Cat 1 + 2.

In euro20 ssc tickets could not be transferred once downloaded
ballot ones could
this time - remains to be seen

100% agree, wasn’t impressed with the stadium either tbh. On that note I go for a football jolly (non Scotland) with my mates once a year, worst place we’ve been by a mile was Stuttgart. It’s like Livingston with less going for it , bland German Witherspoons and no old town or any boozers with character. Every chance us bombing the shit out of it probably has a lot to do with that tho
That’s useful info for me mate as I had booked a hotel there for a full week.
I will now change this to Frankfurt and cologne.

Part of me is pleased we have them in game 1 as it’ll be some carry on / experience being inside the stadium for it all.
But for footballing reasons game 2 was better. The occasion will have them pumped up beyond belief in game 1.

The only tickets available on here are with codes and the only ones left now are €400 and €600 tickets. So if someone did give you a code which they’re not meant to do then that’s the only tickets that would come up.
If someone from the SSC has purchased already the ticket cannot be physically transferred either. So if someone did cancel then you’d need to be in possession of their actual phone. Only non SSC tickets can be transferred.
The tickets are €30 / €195 / €400 / €600 so unfortunately it is a really pricey game. The other 2 games should be slightly “easier” to get a match ticket to by hook or by crook and are better priced with the maximum official ticket priced at €200.
Now the UEFA lottery is a good place to start and IF you don’t get the match this time then there is a slim chance that in the lead up to the match you’d be offered the chance to purchase a ticket if any came back / weren’t paid for. Again this would be face value and likely be €400 and €600 tickets. However that said UEFA have had record applications and this game was the most applied for after the final.
There is one site that a lot of people have used before if you did want to pay over the odds and that’s Ticombo. Right now you can get 3 seats together for £460 each. Which is lower than what some fans will pay today in the official sale. I personally feel prices will rise and this is as good as it will get.
All the best - just wanted you having all the info and especially that tickets can’t be transferred to others if someone did cancel if that’s what you were holding out for - it’s physically not possible.

So what’s left to buy?
Surprised there’s any left but suppose people aren’t made of money. If they went out to everyone in Scotland to buy right now they’d be gone in 25 seconds.

Got 3x Cat 2 tickets the day😎. A lot of money but fuck it, the amount of away games ive travelled to over the years and watched utter dross. 400€ won’t matter in 10 years, chance to go to the opening game of a tournament and at such a great stadium can’t be missed.
Absolutely worth it

Only a short video of it (deleted the original!) but was over in April and it certainly caught me by surprise when it came on.
Cannot wait to be there. Looks superb. Hopefully they put it on for us haha

And a great view of the stadium.
What a superb video.

Fans first seats look like they’ll be cracking in Cologne. Behind the goals is elevated.

83% of all people on 12+ took tickets yesterday for all 3 matches.
There are 7102 people maximum going for 3500 tickets for each match.
More likely to be 6100 people going for 3500 based on yesterdays percentages.
Very lucky to get all 3, 50/50 on getting 2 and a good chance of getting 1 but at a high price.
Clever folk are going for game 2 and game 3 first.

Good luck to the 11 pointers in getting some reasonably priced tickets
A lot will miss out for game 2 and 3.
Switzerland and Hungary will be sold out by 10 past 12 imo

I'm kicking myself... I didn't even think to average it out.
In hindsight, I wish I'd gone CAT3 in Munich (upper tier), FANS FIRST in Cologne (lower tier, but it has steep stands close to the pitch) and CAT3 in Stuttgart (upper tier). That would have averaged 95 Euros, which isn't good, but it isn't eye watering.
Did you get FF for all 3? If so then there is something to be said for how smug you can be when you tell people you’re going to all 3 games and they give you that face and “oooft how much you pay for that” and puff their cheeks
and you reply with £80 for all 3.

That’s what I’ve ended up with by luck rather than judgement

Can hardly believe that all the 600 euros tickets will actually sell. If i hadn't got the two cheapest options it would have been fanzone in Munich for me. Suppose 600 euros for some people is acceptable.
I’ve paid €195 which is the most I’ve paid for any event through the official channels.
I paid (stupidly) €300 for Ireland v Scotland in the 6 nations when I thought we were going to win the thing after beating England.
€600 I’d have paid ONLY because it’s the opening game and the next few tournaments look like a joke to attend all 3 matches and I definitely won’t be able to. I’d only have been able to justify it by the “once in a lifetime” thing. But I’d be absolutely sick!
-
I lost out on a €30 ticket for Germany that was in my basket and a €30 ticket for Hungary which was also in my basket. Had to pay higher as it crashed a few times.
These things happen. Nothing is perfect. Even yesterday - it didn’t bother me - mistakes happen, they apologised and rectified it.
All in all if you’d told me 4 years ago I’d get 3 tickets for euro 2020 and 3 for this I’d be absolutely delighted and I am delighted.
Some people win some people lose in these things.
Tomorrow will be hugely entertaining to see how fast those €600 tickets go.

SSC have tweeted saying if you wait 30 minutes it'll reactivate and start working again.
Thank you.
This is now resolved. It’s cost me €30 but overall happy.
All sorted.

“For members having issues with codes with error messages of the codes in use, cancelled or failed payment.
UEFA have advised if you wait 30 mins, the code will reactivate and you can use it to purchase the match”.
Hope that helps anyone panicking 👍
Thanks Andy.
