I think the horse has left the stable for us to finish 1st. Spain's goal difference is far too large for us to overcome IMO. If Norway beat Spain, then it's still do-able but I don't want to pressure of needing to beat Georgia away. I want qualification a certainty, that's all that matter for me
I want us qualified as well but a draw still gives us a chance to win the group. Although I think that's gone now sadly.

Wouldn't a draw be better on Sunday?

That dykes booking 😆
The ref is a balloon
And no free kick when McGinn was flattened on the edge of their box.

Games on Viaplay.

That’s twisting my words a bit. I only joined the SNP after the referendum, Nicola Sturgeon was either leader or leader to be, can’t really remember. Prior to that, Loony Alba - which I was a member of - had a pretty incestuous relationship with London SNP, had common members, used to go to each others social functions and the like for a couple of decades, so I was moving in those circles anyway. A mate of mine from those days became an MSP very briefly in 2007.
My views on Independence haven’t really changed since I was around 16 or so, my introduction to politics was through the anti-nuclear movement and at that time I was speaking to people from both the Labour Party and the SNP who were all part of that. I voted for the first time in the 1983 general election, voted Labour and continued to vote Labour at every election up to the 2001 general election. I’ve never voted for since and would really struggle to vote for them again, even in a council election.I'm more of a reader than a poster on these forums but the part where you say your views on independence haven't changed since you were 16 got my attention. Does that mean you don't support Scottish Independence?
I struggle with the idea of supporting Scottish independence but voting for a unionist party.

Sneaky suspicion for Richard Osman. Disappeared off Pointless recently - a show he created.
He's been off that for a fair bit of time hasnt he? I think the article said hes still been on BBC tv so might not be him.
Has an injuction been put in place to stop the paper naming the person?

The difference between today and the Spain match is crazy.
If we lost today but had a go I could take it but to sit back like we have and do fuck all is pathetic.
Feels like a step back.
-
Despite the shite ref we have been rotten.
-
Ref has been terrible. The yellow card for McGinn was a joke.
-
I think that's a harsh penalty.
-
Not been a good performance. Sitting off them far too much. Forgot McGregor was on the park.
Feels like we're set up for a point.

Agreed, not sure it’s fair they had to play 4 games more (in a short space of time) than Ross County tho. Football can be brutal at times but they really should have finished the tie in the first leg
Not winning by more on Thursday has cost us.
Did think though their penalty was soft but losing the 2nd so soon after kick off has killed us.
Bannigan should have scored in extra time and Docherty should be embarrassed with his penalty.

I think a big chunk of that is they’ve ramped up over recent years to upgrade the digital network, once that’s completed they’ll have no need for most of them.
Once that's completed there's going to be a massive recovery project to recover all the existing copper in the ground. Plus the decommissioning of exchanges that won't be needed.
The network will still need maintained so the numbers being cut won't be anything like the 55000 the clowns in charge are hoping for.

I’ve been to a few Championship matches since Christmas. To be honest sometimes the banter has been better than the game by far but that looks like a game with a lot on it now. I’ll definitely try and get over to Firhill (been too long) on Friday, failing that I’ll catch it on the telly 👍
Fingers crossed for a home win and a decent game for you👍

Haha! Dundee sorting that right oot today!
The chasing pack closing in on QP as they fall apart. Looks like it might get interesting again with Thistle in the hunt now as well 👍
Thistle v Queens Park on Friday night on BBC Scotland. Havent taken a point off them this season but feel this could be the match.

Two shocking decisions from var for both teams.
Really needed to hold out a bit longer at start of second half to frustrate them but I was expecting a hammering so can't really complain.

For once I agree. Justice done as that was never a penalty.
Don't think either of them were penalties. If that's the standard of VAR then what's the point?

Thanks for that 👍
Im going to keep any eye out for tv coverage, I’ve seen a couple of games advertised on Alba but I’m not sure what the contract is. Who knows I might even make the short trip over to Hamilton the next time they’re up against one of the title chasers!
Theres a game on pretty much every Friday night on BBC Scotland channel you could catch. 👍

No ref wants that headline
He shouldn't be thinking about the headlines. It should have been a 2nd yellow and we should be playing 10 men.

I'm still confused why the Ukraine player didn't get booked after he scored the 2nd.
-
Why didn't the Ukraine player who scored get a 2nd yellow when he ran to his supporters to celebrate? Does that law not apply to them?
