  1. Shaughnessy loan confirmed by club now:

"The opportunities have been limited here for Joe this season and playing every week at a good level can only be beneficial for him. We've seen in the past the benefits of players going out on loan, and Joe himself enjoyed a productive spell at Forfar a couple of seasons ago."

The manager added that he does not expect any more transfer activity today, either in or out. "We conducted the majority of our business some time ago in terms of the squad, which I'm happy with, and that should be it for us."

  2. Did a 100 mile cycle in Perthshire yesterday, massive amount of houses with yes Signs. Someone has also made a killing selling mdf yes's as there are loads displayed all over. Dunkeld had a big turn out at their stall as we stopped and chatted, whilst the no thanks had no one at it, and they were trying to sticker people walking by to the highland games and getting the brush off.

Aye, saw a fair few doing part of that route a few weeks ago.

  3. 1 - Pensions are as secure in an iScotland as they are in the UK. Those who have already paid into the pot can get out of the pot. In an iScotland would be able to support pensions, as we would have an extra £500 per person to play with (as we're subsidizing the rUK).

2 - Jobs would still exist.

3 - We already own 8.4% (negotiatable) of everything, so set up costs won't be bad at all. A lot of things that we'd need is already setup anyway.

    4 - £ in a currency union.

5 - We would have a military that would be comparable to that of Denmark or Norway. We would also be a NATO member state, so we'll be in a shared defense force with 28 other countries.

6 - As EU citizens we can use any embassies of the other EU members in the time that we set up our own.

    7 - YAY!

8 - And there aren't in the UK?

9 - No - Labour would be able to challenge the SNP as those wanting independence now wouldn't be forced into a mass pact and Labour wouldn't be controlled from London.

10 - As per point 9, the SNP may not be in power.

    10. Some members of the SNP (myself included, are republican).

    The leadership are not.

  4. That's awful. :worried:

George was the most famous person on the planet for one day. And his day, in front of the Senate was a great day. He did a good thing. Unfortunately, he couldn't let it go and has forever since thought he should rightfully still be up there, telling the world his thoughts and invoking anger. He's now nothing more than a provocative erse and if somebody's smacked his pus, well it's been a long time coming.

Did he not accuse one of the folk questioning him of "voting for an illegal war" only for the guy to tell him if he checked the record he'd see that he voted against?
