The process is quite simple. Get to the ground, find a spare bank of seats big enough for your group, and go there. Even in the unlikely scenario that's not the case, depending on the format of the ground it's possible to view it from places where there are no seats, basically everyone is standing anyway, which is much more efficient for space.

Other times when people are getting to the ground separately and people don't manage to meet up with the people they would normally be with, that can happen. You're not going to get a megaphone out and announce to 2000 people or whatever that you require to find Block D Row J Seat 19

This doesn't really work in a sell out scenario, if there are no other spare seats around. I couldn't get to my area in Seville, but I got moved on several times by fans who's seat i'd taken because there was no-where else for them to sit

Aye but it has never been 32 down to 12 for f.cks sake.It would usually be about three selling points before it reaches 12.To think that somebody who has 32 points doesn't get the chance to buy the price of tickets they want before somebody who has 12 points  defeats the whole purpose of the f.cking supporters club.Unbelievable.

All away matches are done this way - 32 down to whatever the cut off point is, whether that's 18 , 15 or in this case 12. Then the leftovers are offered to lower pointers. No change there.

However, a bit of thought by the SFA could have allowed 32-18 for instance first dibs to get the category they want, as a reward to the supporters who have travelled the most. Agree with that.

  3. Ahead of Saturday's draw and the tickets going on sale on the 6th, what are people thinking about which category of tickets to buy?

I'm assuming that the €30 Fans First section behind the goal will be a block of Scotland fans - crap view but great atmosphere

Not every ground will look like the plan given today...but €60 Cat 3 might also be a big block of fans, but higher up

Cat 2 and 1 look likely to be smaller blocks of Scotland fans next to neutrals

In which case i'd probably try for Cat 3 higher up but in a large block of TA

Any different opinions...and am I over thinking it? 😂

  4. As annoying as it was, last night gave Clarke the chance to thank some his loyal back up players, while at the same time giving them the chance to play their way OUT of contention. A cunning plan....

Craig Gordon will be no.2 in Germany if he plays any games at all for Hearts after Xmas.

  5. The anthems were awesome in Paris...Flower of Scotland being bellowed out all around the ground which was the first idea we had of the sheer numbers of TA there, then the who whole TA joined in Le Marseillaise, but singing the tune rather than the words..😂

After the match as well, TA the whole way around the ground. A bit like St Etienne in '98 when the ground emptied but 20,000? TA remained

Update for those on lower points - my mate just got one on 14 points and and if the ticket numbers are an indicator then there's less than 1200 sold.

why, what was his ticket number?

Bought at about the same time and was number 1036

So that's around 1,050 tickets bought by the 2,500 most travelly supporters

There's another 1,600 on 14 and 13 points, who don't travel as much but need the points more. Then we're onto supporters who mostly haven't travelled recently (on 12 or less points)...

My Dad's on 7 points even though he never misses a home match (my fault, long story) and didn't get a Seville ticket because of it. He might just get one tomorrow....😬
