My own opinion is that Naismith is a better finisher when he has no time to think about it. I wouldn't have him on penalties as I can never really recall him taking many.
I would give them to Anya. In fact after his performance in Germany i would let him take freekicks, corners, throw-ins and goal kicks as well
I can't remember Naismith ever taking a penalty for Rangers.
Don't know if he was Kilmarnock's regular taker or not but I do recall McGregor saving one from him at Rugby Park. I think he scored from the resulting corner though!

Swap Darren Fletcher for Morrison I reckon.
-
Brown has taken a few for Celtic hasn't he? I can't think of any others who would take penalties for their clubs.
-
Poland vs Germany is on ITV4 on Saturday after our game for anyone interested.
I agree that you are right in us wanting comfortable German victories in both games.
-
3-1 for Scotland. Naismith, Fletcher and Anya chipping in with the goals.
-
I'd keep Bannan on the right of midfield. Strachan's system works well with the "inside-out" wingers cutting in and the full backs bombing on.
-
I would love to see Naismith starting behind Fletcher, but it would mean only starting two from Morrison, McArthur, Fletcher, and Brown. Tough choice.
Brown and Morrison for the Georgia game.

The Swallow Hotel is about a 10 minute walk from Ibrox.
-
For anyone heading through to Georgia game from East Lothian, there is a bus running from the Dasher in Prestonpans. It will leave at 12 noon and we are booked into the Rolls Royce Club (5 min walk from Ibrox) before the match and for an hour afterwards.
Cost is £12 a head. If you are interested let me know on here.

We took 7 centre halves in the squad, which is ridiculous.
Hendry, Calderood & Boyd were first choice with Dailly, Whyte, Elliott & Weir in there too.
-
Darren Jackson certainly did. The others probably not, Cameron and McCoist should have been in the squad.
Only an Excuse had a sketch with Tosh McKinlay saying that his call up to the Scotland squad was a great honour for both him and his club, Celtic Reserves.
-
And the team I would start with would be:
Marshall
Hutton
Martin
Hanley
Robertson
Brown
Morrison
Bannan
Naismith
Anya
Fletcher
-
Marshall
McGregor
Gordon
Hutton
Robertson
Martin
Hanley
Berra
Bardsley
Forsyth
Greer
Bannan
Brown
Fletcher
Mulgrew (suspended for Georgia I know)
Morrison
Anya
McArthur
Maloney
Burke
Dorrans
Bryson
Naismith
Fletcher

If any SSC members on here aren't planning to attend the Ireland match in November would you be willing to let me use your SSC details to buy a ticket for my workmates who would like to attend? They are a well behaved bunch (I promise!).
If you are able to help me out please PM me your surname, SSC number and postcode so I can add you to my friends & family list. I will delete your details immediately after I order the tickets tomorrow afternoon.

Does anyone know if the boy who fell ? off his stool outside a bar near fattys Irish bar on Sunday morning and made a mess of his nose was OK. An ambulance arrived within a few minutes and not sure if they dealt with him at the scene or took him away.
That was my mate chief. I was the guy who put him in the recovery position while you came over and asked for his match ticket.
They wanted him to stay in hospital overnight but he wasn't for it. The doctor said if he had his way he would have kept him in for 6 nights so they could then operate on his nose! He didn't go to the match but he did get home with us as planned and got taken to hospital here to get splints taken out his nose and he's got an appointment to get the stitches out this weekend.
We were lucky a doctor happened to be passing by as well.

Whereabouts are you? Fast Frame on Queen Street in Glasgow used to do mine and they were always excellent.
They have a store in Edinburgh mate. Thanks for the tip, I'll give them a call.

Can someone recommend me a framer who could frame two football shirts for me?
They have been signed by the whole team who beat France in 2007 plus McLeish, one will be auctioned for the TACC so watch this space!

I don't think this will sell out. I think we'll be doing well to shift 40k tickets.
Will Ibrox Sell Out ?

Looking at the stadium plan, I can see them closing the club deck and chucking the people who have bought tickets for in there in the main stand.
