I don't think anyone is doubting Cooper was a good, or very good player. Just folk have questioned if he was as good as some made out.

It's no that Cove. Everyone has opinions on who was or is a good or great player. My only humf is that some people on here were calling him a bigot with no proof. Is that wrong of me? As I said I never met him but know people who did. And folk on here call him a bigot but with no proof. You expect me to sit and sagree with that? What do you think? And apologies Prkie. Grumpy git x

No kid. It was Cooper that did it. But dinny let facts get in way of your bile against Cooper. Sad. Watched programme on Alba last week. Denis Law was actually crying taliking about pulling on Scotland jersey. John Collins was same speaking about Cooper. Proudest moment oif their lives. Baxter, Gemmel. Them all. Cooper too. Proudest moment of their lives was pulling on the dark blue. Yet some on here try to slate them because. Well just because. Nobody's. Put names up mods. Will be a better place for it.

And shameful of people on here that speak about the late Davie Cooper with no facts. Even worse the motherwell fans that wont stand up for him. He single handedly took us to Mexico the night Jock Stein died. The great Jock Stein by the way. Everyone has and had their faults. But they will remain heroes in my eyes. Just heard that a pal of mine overheard another person saying. (now keep this to yourselves). That Denis Law was a bigot. He texted someone in the 60's and. Well it cant be proved but I've got my suspicions. ye Same as yon Dalgleish. They are all under suspicion now. Now that I have made it up. Bit like yon erse thistle that comes on here about Cooper. If ye cannae beat them and all that. Yon Glenlivet is rare mind. Scotland Forever. Oh and just heard that Scotland is under attack from sense of humour bypass. I know where you are coming from ma pal. I get it. I really do. But it was that arrogance that made us go to Wembley and fear nothing. Great programme last week on Wembley 77. Kevin Keegan said we were walking up the tunnel and we we smell the whisky. He was good on that programme btw and loves the Scots.
