    Google your right this story has been around for years not very good at posting links but there is a story written by robert Fisk of the independent although the story is a bit misleading
  2. While the Irish were neutral during WWII, they were assiting the allied forces by the end and as said by others many Irish moved over to fight against the Nazi's

    Neutral my arse they allowed the german u boats to refuel in Irish waters during the ww2 as a result many a merchant ship was lost and not forgetting the brave men who persied

  4. Was hoping to get Flybe from Southampton when flights come out but looking at flybe website doesn't appear to be any direct flights to Faro any more. Anyone any inside knowledge?

    Ryanair have there flights up at the minute from bournemouth to faro coming in at £80 mark you can get the train from Southampton airport park way to bournemouth then bus or taxi to the airport in about 10 or 15 minutes
  5. Well still here but go home tomorrow have been in Kraków for 4 days great city think I've had the the cheapest beer in my life 3 zlotys happy hour near the Jewish quarter then the most humbling experience my life went to authcwitz berkinua yesterday

  6. Somewhere in the Jewish Quarter there's a tram shed which has a micro brewery inside it where the beer costs 70p.

    It also has deckchairs.

    I cannot recommend it enough, or tell you how to get there.

    Avoid the Cuban Bar.

    Going there today as well as the Schindler factory will have a wee look for that one cheers

Cheers jagtag for the recommendation as to regards balaton hungerian restaurant in Kraków don't think I've ever had bigger portions of food the goulash is a meal in its self had 3 courses l know I am a big lad lol it was so cheap had 3 classes of wine and a pint all in for 102 zlotys about £20 going back tonight once again many thanks

  8. Don't think anyone has went home yet still plenty of ta out and about as l post here in Warsaw who can blame us it's so cheap lol staying next to the university in a wee bar only 5 zlotys for a pint less than £1
