Worst ever in Europe involving Scottish clubs- Kilmarnock.

On a lighter note my EX Mother in law correctly sussed me as a rogue. A month after she died me and my buddy were travelling across Poland by train heading to Warsaw and as always on trips, card games and 10 cans of Beer helped kill time. Whilst playing Triumph we had to cut the cards numerous times and the number of times I cut the Queen of Diamonds was unnerving. She was the Queen of her family and a Diamond to them and maybe I was being told I was still being watched. My mate hated it as he never won the cut. Even now if I have a bad gambling run I think she is orchestrating it.

I travel often with Ryanair and Mrs and I do individual bookings. She pays extra £10 for priority therefore can take a small case on board. I carry a small bag which fits under the seat at no extra cost. Remember if you want to sit together probably about £8 to £12 each way to book seat. Good airline to travel with once you have navigated extra charges.

A much improved player who looks more assured at Man Utd. Needs to start against Cyprus.

What an absolute nonsense, top coaching can take players with even limited talent further than they would without. Of course there are a number of factors that come into producing a top class player a lot of which include the player himself talent, mentality, commitment, ambition etc, but without top coaching they will never take their talent as far as they possibly could. If coaching weren't a factor everyone would still be running about like headless chickens in the playground. You only have to look as far as what Brenda Rodgers did with the players at Celtic to see how top coaching can influence a players career and maximise their talent
I said top internationals, Rodgers improved Mcgregor, Forrest and Armstrong but they are hardly superstars. Coaching cannot make that happen.
-
Coaching can be good to fine tune only if the talent is present. Our players do not have the talent to be top internationals. This obsession blaming Celtic, Rangers and the SFA has being ongoing since France 1998. In that time apart from Ferguson and Fletcher we have produced mediocrity.

New league starts in May ; only 7 teams initally ; and seemingly 3rd attempt to get a pro team off the ground here
will be well below mls 1 / 2 level ; likely below highland league , but novelty of having some games to watch in the flesh after 13 odd years here is appealing
new 6k stadium just down the road from my end of town too ; showjumping grounds ( is brian irvine still in the game )
sounds like a Cdn FA cup type affair also
( and beer in the stands )
season ticket booked
Lad and family moving to Calgary from Toronto soon will pass on details.

good night out however worried about getting there in time for buses tomorrow
Aye Easyjet flight from Edinburgh 2 hours late. Changed my flight to Thursday and stayed in Ibis as feared possible delay on the Friday. How did everyone eventually get to Albania?

And you can't print off boarding passes beforehand. And check in closes 45 minutes before departure. And fined if passport name different. And old fleet of planes. Never slag Ryanair again.

Sent thanks.

Never go by long range forecasts. It is a forecast therefore open to change, stick to 5 days maximum for accuracy.

Not a MASSIVE game jings we can lose 2-0 and still top group. We can win 5-0 and still finish second. People are salivating about what group we are going to be in!! Dear Dear.

Biggest problem now is that Albania away match is huge.
Disagree, game is meaningless unless we lose 3-0. Irrespective of result we must beat Israel.
-
Also when Livingston a have free kick on the halfway line, no hesitation big men up. How many times in modern football do teams knock it back or inside? On another issue McLeish wants the team to play out from the back, doing so has contributed to our downfall. Stop it.
-
We lack players, probably worst lot for years. When our centre forward is 32, lacking in pace and has a first touch like Billy Dodds then that sums us up.

Bang on too many of the tartan tourists would rather miss the match than a Tam or Ted gig so they can dance with each other and sing proclaimers songs
the Self-interst Football Association wont change unfortunately
I can assure you the Scotland fans didn't hold back in Israel and most where fairly sober. Now this has happened the manager and players are aware that lack of effort will not be tolerated. Tartan Tourists and Happy Clappers do exist but so do passionate fans who take defeat hard.
-
Chaotic expensive country I will not be returning to.
-
I was at the match and witnessed the abuse the players and management received, quite correctly. This is the beginning of a different attitude from the fans telling all concerned don't dare serve up this shite again. Don't dare play with no heart or effort. Boycott no, criticism yes. Happy clapping days are gone.

In this bar just now, would recommend it , traditional looking bar , Happy hour 7-9pm.
Good find only 1 minute from my hotel. The two of us will wade in on Wednesday night and do that Scottish thing, buying 10 drinks at 5 minutes to 9.

Your salary dropped by £35k? As in it "dropped" by £10k MORE than the national average salary?
There's folk in the call centre in my work earning £18k a year for a 40hr week, with 25 days annual leave and 7 stats.
Forgive me for my bleeding heart when I hear about those in the oil industry moaning.
Pretty much correct about call centres, I did 5 years at one of the better ones. Amazing the number of employees educated to degree and above who cannot get work elsewhere. Offshore workers should be a bit humble instead of moaning.

Prepare for long queues before the game
Don't agree, even if only outlet is Haifa then 8 hours is ample to distribute what will probably be just over 1200/1300 briefs. Calls for a bit of inconvenience but so what. Be train up for me and Davey bus back.
-
Hope it is 100% pick up, weed out the Harvesters. Probably say 1,200 fans travelling, Tel Aviv ticket collection Wednesday night and Haifa on match day. Plenty of trains up and Davie bus back. Not a problem.

Kilmarnock have been trying to build their fan base and also successfully getting local companies to back them. That result takes the shine of any good work done by the club. Worst ever Scottish result considering opponents and league they play in.
