Wales have the head to head on Croatia, so I think currently they are set to qualify and not having to use the play off? All to play for in that group.
Netherlands are making a meal of beating Greece to 2nd place, but fingers crossed they pull through and secure a higher seeding
Czech Republic should pull through and qualify automatically as Poland have had a shocking campaign. However, Albania are currently set to win the group, which would put them in a higher pot, which isn't ideal
If we end up in Pot 3 and draw Albania from Pot 2, I’m ok with that.

I think we’ve gone soft after the start we’ve had. The prospect of a home game v Norway just needing a win to top the group ahead of Spain and qualify for the Euros is something we would’ve bitten your hand off for when we were the first European team eliminated, or when we were getting beat in Georgia, Lithuania and Macedonia.

Therefore I don't really blame Elliot Anderson at all if he deep down wants to represent England over Scotland. It's the country of his birth. The one that he is going to feel the most attached to.
Which is fair enough. But Anderson played for Scotland youth teams for years, accepted a call-up to the senior squad with some fanfare, turned up for training before apparently making some excuse and disappearing again, seemingly letting the press know that he “didn’t enjoy it”. That’s the bit that has put people off him a bit.

Another question, is it likely to be the same people within the SSC, ie those on highest points, who get first chance of tickets for every game, or will those people be restricted on buying tickets for second game for example if they already have a ticket for the first game ?14 points will put you in the top 3000-4000 and it’s difficult to imagine a distribution of minimum 7000 tickets that wouldn’t get you one, no matter how many the SFA cream off.
I’m on 14 and I’m assuming I’ll be ok.
I did apply for tickets for the opening game, the semis and the final - a long shot to get them but you never know!

Norway currently 17/5 to beat Spain in Oslo. Add that to the probability of either Cyprus v Norway or Spain v Scotland going our way and the chances of qualifying by next Sunday are 88%
(56% chance of Norway and Spain winning next week, only 22% chance of Norway then beating Spain = 12.32%)

Actually, seems it may be me that’s wrong. I was sure it was five years residency but seems it’s currently permanently resident for three of the last five years.
He went to Vancouver in July 2021, so maybe he’d be eligible by next summer?

He can’t play for Canada until after 2026 WC as I understand it. 2030 would be his first chance, by which time he’d be 34, and that’s assuming Canada qualified.
