I realise you’re trying to be funny but Rangers have signed (or have at least played) Ryan Jack, Scott Wright, Kenny Miller, Kris Boyd, John Souttar, Allan McGregor, Lee McCulloch, Lee Wallace, Davie Weir, Steven Whittaker, Kirk Broadfoot, Kevin Thompson, Danny Wilson, Andy Halliday,  Jason Hoult, Neil Alexander, Andy Webster, Christian Dailly, Charlie Adam, Ian Murray, Steven Naismith, Alan Gow, Steven Smith, Phil Bardsley, Gavin Rae, Richard Foster, Graham Dorrans and Jaimie Murphy in the last 20 years.

And that’s just the players I can remember off the top off my head.

That’s 28 over 20 years, and that included their years in the lower leagues.

just for comparison, Dundee Utd used 22 Scots this season.

Did Karamoko Dembele not commit to engerland?

He swapped back and forward.  Plays with neither now.

You would think Ivory Coast is quite likely though.

No contrition?  By all accounts his wife/girlfriend picked him up after the game and he was inconsolable

How do his wife and his girlfriend get on?  That’s pretty modern, but then Stretch is a modern kinda dude.

We're both right, Beckham did his in 2002, Rooney in 2006.

I actually thought Rooney may have done it as well, but was too lazy to check.

Ross McCrorie seems to be Bristol City's first choice RB and playing regularly. In with a shout if Hickey and Patterson are injured? Clarke has called him up to squads before and he's getting more minutes than Ralston

    That sounds reasonable to me.

Not much info but seen Danny Cadamerteri(if anyone remembers him) sons is in our youth team, Caelen and the brother is in the England u19s. Guessing he was born in Dundee or relatives.

That’s what we get in exchange for Jack Fletcher, Jensen Weir and Archie Gray.

I don't think this would help Scotland at all. It's a big help to the bigger nations who can call on big squads of very good players. It would make Clarkes job of picking the squad a lot easier, but he would just be filling the squad with players that he hopes he won't need to use.

I agree.  It’s like increasing the number of subs to five from 12 or whatever it is.  Only helps the big, rich clubs.

I'm sure you are right, they looked to having a great time acting like plastic English fans, booing celtic players despite there likely being celtic fans from northern Ireland in their end.

I wouldn’t be too sure about that.  It’s not exactly a unifying team is it?  Listen to the anthem for a start - where does that leave 50% of the country?

Well, we had at least three players that had more passes individually, than the whole N Ireland team

There was a point in the second half where NI actually made four passes in a row, albeit they were really struggling by the fourth one and ended up shelling it away.

  10. Watching some of the Georgia v Greece play-off and the Georgians are up to the usual histrionics, culminating in their entire bench and coaching staff swarming onto the park trying to get a Greek guy sent off for absolutely nothing.  They’re just a gang.

Hope Greece pump them from here.

Hibs 2016 Scottish Cup winning team spring to mind. David Gray, Darren McGregor (wasn’t for injuries, he’d have been capped a couple of times particularly with how poor our CB options were back then), Paul Hanlon, Lewis Stevenson, Fraser Fyvie, Dylan McGeouch, Liam Henderson, John McGinn, James Keatings, Jason Cummings & Martin Boyle (both the latter two were still eligible for Scotland before Australia capped them). Even though they were in the championship, that team is adored by Hibs fans for ending the 114 year wait for a Scottish Cup title. Think it’s the only team to have won the Scottish Cup that weren’t a premiership team that same season.

Football tops can cause a lot of debate but end of the day, doesn't really matter what it looks like as long as we are successful on the pitch.

There's always that question over whether it should be traditional, old school, plain but effective sort of top or a more creative and exciting design thats a bit more out there. Obviously the home top is more the latter but feel they could of done this better than they have done here as the whole pattern has just confused people as to what it's meant to be which is not really the object of what I presume Adidas were going for, bit of an own goal. Why not just keep it more like the euro 96 top and this would have been probably one of the best ever tops Scotland has created!

I assumed the home top was a tribute to OMD’s classic 1981 album Architecture and Morality.

It's getting announced today. Not sure when though -  probably until all the players that have been selected have received their texts.

I dont know what you 2 are looking at but he is in the under 19 Sqaud for the elite round.

Dont have a problem with likes of Miller, Wilson and Watson in that sqaud as there in with a chance of qualifying for the first time since 2006 and it a under 20 world cup year . The whole group would benefit a lot more if they manised it rather than a few of them being away with the under 21.

    Nice one.

I agree. It seems like he's probably ready now. But maybe wasn't a year ago.

Lennon Miller is a ridiculous one. He is playing in the SPFL against seasoned professionals. Obviously he'll be fine in the u21s.

My question was, why has Rory Wilson not been included in the under 19s or the under 21s, not specifically the older team.
