Not Scottish, but for @Huddersfield , though he's probably seen this. Graf Zeppelin over Wembley 1930.
Just saw it on hushkit.net
Yes that’s a great picture. There’s quite a few of that incident including some taken from planes that followed it, plus some Pathe footage. If you could be a good chap though & avoid mentioning the final score back down on the ground 😟

Thank you Huddersfield for making me the most experienced chef on the thread !
I have chopped so much I ordered new chopping boards yesterday. I have had an email and they arrive between 19-21hrs tonight. The highlight of my day 😕
Happy to help 😂👍

Beans on toast.
Difficulty rating:10. That tin opener is bloody useless & I keep forgetting to order a new one with the shopping.

PePiPoo is a good source of advice for this kind of thing. Loads of professionally qualified legal & motoring people on there up to & including judges so you’d get strong advice I’d imagine.

Mind when you used to get free drams? Now you have to pay for the tour first 😄
We actually got lucky...I forget why but they weren't doing tours when we arrived & there was hardly anyone there, so we got a couple of drinks free & the woman said they were trying to get rid of the prints so to help ourselves. I still came away £50 or so lighter though.

That new Bunnahabhain btw, tastes sweeter and less smoky than I remember.
I also got my 2nd Tullibardine 225 (I think) - sauternes finish. Nice. Was my favourite sampled at the Glasgow whisky festival, though failed to access the posh room.
I have a framed print of Bunnahabhain distillery on my wall that they were giving away free when I went there a few years back.

If it's the Glen Grant Aged 10 years it is a fantastic. I liked it so much i bought a.box of it. One of the nicest easy drinkers I have ever had. Enjoy.
Yes that’s the one. Just opened it tonight & yes it’s very nice.

Seeing as how I'm not spending money on crap like petrol & Huddersfield Town, I decided to fork out on a couple of low priced single malts to while away the days. A Glen Grant 10-Year Old & a Glen Moray Port Cask Finish (no age statement) which arrived today. I have to say, I'm definitely fond of the Glen Moray for the price I paid for it.

I listened to it! Not really my cup of tea, but just so you don't feel ignored

The body part isn't mentioned but it's not exactly a well-kept secret what he was singing about:

I've seen this popping up a few places which made me smile:

I suspect most of these have cropped up somewhere or other before...

A few folk songs:

Sadly, the first song that came into my head that was banned was Yankee Dollar by the Andrews Sisters for mentioning Coca-Cola.
Not quite a ban as such, more censorship, but Elvis was forced to sing Hound Dog to an actual dog on a table so that viewers couldn’t see him from the waist down...something that must have riled him as he frequently mentioned it in his ‘drugged up in Vegas’ period.
Anyway, to regain some musical credibility, I’m pretty sure this has been banned in it’s time.

I would not be relying on that VA funded study.
I find astonishing that so many folk are seemingly trying to knock it down as a potential treatment for the main reason that Donald Trump touted it early on. I know they hate the man but I can't get my head around that. If it turns out it does help then these headlines etc are a disgrace.
I also watched the latest Trump remarks. It looks to me he was trying to relay something that had been briefed to him. Even during all of this they just keep going...
I wouldn’t knock it back because Trump brought it up. I’m more persuaded by the thousands of doctors saying that what he’s suggesting is in fact an effective suicide technique.

No that’s where you get to see the videos of it being used. According to a friend.

This thread reminds me of a woman I used to know through work who was from a Bangladeshi family. She was a good cook to be fair, & had a 'family role' of always doing the food for the very frequent family get-togethers, from which we'd often get the leftovers. I was once asking her about how to make a good curry (apparently she had a reputation for making amazing ones). She told me there was a secret trick that none of her family knew about & swore me to secrecy if I ever met any of them.
It turned out it was that she just chucked a jar of Sainsbury's curry sauce into the mix.
