  3. It came round quickly and starts tomorrow at the foot of Ben Nevis, ending Saturday (hopefully less than 24 hours later) on the return from the top of Snowdon (via Scafell Pike). We have the cost of the minibus hire covered by Andrew Hughes Logistics, accommodation by Thompson Solicitors (Glasgow) and fuel costs by Jim Wilson of Lanark. If you could spare a few pounds in sponsoring the guys it would be very much appreciated. https://mydonate.bt.com/teams/fcta3peaks

  5. Posted elsewhere by Joecraigfanclub Hi, Tonight I have found around 40 copies of Chancers, Dancers and Romancers in my flat. Essentially this is £400 for the Tartan Army Sunshine Appeal lying in a corner. If you are looking for some holiday reading before you head off or was thinking of buying a gift for someone, please go to the link below and buy the book. Its a tenner including postage. The lovely people who run the TASA have a busy year coming up with three away games in the qualifiers following on from the games in Malta and France so every little helps. The book has had several positive reviews on Amazon and I am sure you won't regret your purchase. A sample are below A right riveting read. Tom Sharpe meets Arthur Montford This is a very engrossing and laugh-out-loud funny story that should appeal to non-football fans and Tartan Army travellers alike. The people around the pool while on holiday must have thought there was a madman in their midst. I was roaring with laughter at times. As mentioned in others reviews, every Scotland fan knows a Gus Perfectly captures all the madness of a Scotland away trip but with a little bit of fiction and murder thrown in for good measure! http://www.tasunshineappeal.co.uk/2015/11/chancers-dancers-and-romancers-a-tartan-army-tale/ Thanks for your support, Kevin
  6. Thanks to watershed and to everyone involved for thinking of the Tartan Army Sunshine Appeal. Many people who have organised bus transfers for fans in Malta (and Slovakia) - not all, but many - have pledged to donate any excess monies to the Tartan Army Sunshine Appeal. We thank them all.

  10. At the end of July, 6 members of Fair City Tartan Army will be tackling the 3 Peaks Challenge to raise funds for the Tartan Army Sunshine Appeal. They will be climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon - in 24 hours. We have a benefactor who has generously agreed to sponsor the cost of hiring of a minibus. 19. This is another example of where your money goes. The money that we make selling badges, T-Shirts and Polos. The money that we make when you take part in our Predictor competitions, when you run a marathon, write a book, do the 3-Peaks Challenge, sponsored skinny-dipping - whatever it is that you do to support the Tartan Army Sunshine Appeal. This is what we do with it. On Saturday evening, we will be donating £5000 to Rafael-Lorraine who are a charity in Metz who operate a "Make A Wish"-type charity for kids with serious illnesses. This will be our 59th consecutive donation. Our presentation to a Maltese charity in September will be our Diamond Donation.
