Sorry if I’m being thick but I don’t think so, is the post not too old to edit? I don’t see an option to do so.

I’ll try and find time for a mid-season edit around Christmas to update on how they are all doing and maybe to add a few new guys who have progressed quicker than expected and now deserve a place on the list.

Go to your 1st post and you, as thread starter, should be able to edit that. In that edit box, it‘s possible to change the title.

    Hi folks,

Looking to see if anyone on here has a membership to Borussia Dortmund. Heading over next month and looking to acquire a ticket. I did apply for a membership myself, but looks like it’s not going to be accepted in time.

Any info please do let me know!

    Cheers

Next months games will already be sold out, and they have a type of „probation“ period before new members have access to tickets in order to circumvent people doing what you are doing.

They have 55000 season ticket holders plus 175000 members.

I've heard it'll be a collection until 5pm, like Spain, in the town and there won't be anything at the Stadium - the French aren't willing to have fans attend the staidums en-masse.

You might want to get a better source, or a battery for your hearing aid.

Am I right in saying there’s no details of pick up yet?

E-Mail just received. Holiday Inn Express on the day before the game as well as game day, then also up at the ground.

Really hoping the SSC have the sense to have a later close to the collection for this game. Seville collection only available until 5pm and know plenty won't get to Lille until later.

Seeing as it's a 100% pick up, with the total number having to collect being much larger then usual, then would presume that it'll be a downtown hotel during the day and another one up at the stadium later.

Did they check passport number/passports in Cyprus?

    No. L

Early doors they did, a photo on my phone was sufficient. The steward did check that it matched with the details on my ticket.

Presumably once the main body of fans rocked up, they gave it a miss.

I’m on 13 so still fancy my chances.

im ignorant on this - is it 1 point or 2 points you are awarded for an away game? As if it’s 2 then I’m thinking my points tally is incorrect

Away games are two points. Drop the SSC an E-Mail.

    Apologies for hijacking the thread.

Currently doing a wee tour around Germany.

Arrive in Munich late Friday afternoon, anyone know any pubs that’ll show the Cyprus game?

Obviously the usual venues would normally be Irish bars, but with it being on Viaplay and not Sky I’m not convinced it’ll be so easy to find.

    Any help much appreciated.

    It‘s on DAZN in Germany.

All the bars / sports bars have DAZN since they have the rights for the Bundesliga Friday & Sunday games.

This site will give a list. Your browser should be able to translate if not a German speaker. https://www.fussballgucken.info/locations

    I'm a year older than you Marky. . . . . . . . . I can only think of / remember 4 non friendly games against them in my lifetime

    1 game Euro 96

    2 legged play-off 1999

    1 game Euro 20 (21)

    I'm stuck after that ??

2 qualifiers for the 2018 World Cup. Got gubbed in London, and the home game was the Leigh Grifftihs game.

Just worked out where we have been going wrong - we need a nickname! One that the media will pick up on. England have the Lionesses, Oz the Matildas, Jamaica the Reggae Boyz. even Wales the Red Dragons.

What are we? The Jaggy Thistles? The Bravehearts? Any suggestions?

The Bravehearts is what we are called / referred to as in Germany, cringeworthy.

I'm thinking that tickets for the Cyprus game from the supporters club will be posted next week. Some folk are having a two week holiday and will be possibly be leaving by next Friday or thereabouts.

There was the option to collect in person.

No offence ramy but you surely know the answer yo this question? If you were just trying to start a conversation then fair enough but there isn't a football fan that I'm aware of who doesn't know the qualifiers are played over two legs. It's been that way in Europe for as long as anyone can remember.

Maybe some older fans can answer this but has there ever been a European tournament played over one leg out with a final?

The old Intertoto cup was, for a 5 team group, 2 games at home 2 games away. Last 16 & quarter-finals were one legged. The semis over two, with the winners then entering the Uefa cup.

Thanks for the replies. I've had a wee look and the Oslo flight has left from the same terminal as the Edinburgh flight has arrived. Problem is this Thursday the Edinburgh flight was 45 minutes late. Norway isn't in the EU but is part of the Nordic Passport Zone so considered the same as a Schengen country so there shouldn't be additional security and passport checks. Just need to hope the first flight is on time and all should be fine but as Macwomble says, they sold it so it must be a) doable and b) their responsibility if something goes wrong

Some of the gates (D59 to D87) in Terminal D are within the Schengen area, and are only accesible after going through passport control. Incoming flights from Scotland will arrive into the area served by gates D1-D57.

    Good point..

But I still think we may have more security.

I'm sure I had to go through passport control and security to change on way to Armenia and Krakow...

If you‘re transiting in Amsterdam on the way to Krakow, then obviously you have to go through passport control since you are entering the Schengen area. No need for a further security check though.

Can‘t remember as to whether UK passport holders are able to use the machines at present in Schiphol. If not then there‘s the risk of arriving at the same time as numerous flights from China / India and being stuck in a massive queue. I live in Germany and transit through Amsterdam quite often, but have the benefit of holding both a German and a UK passport.
