For those staying in or around Heidelberg, a good pub to go to is 'the Mohr'.
Nice place, sports orientated, football memorabilia on the walls etc. Located just off the main square.
The owner is a good guy, have attended many Hannover 96 games with him.

Flight to Frankfurt arrives at 9pm.
Booked train from airport to Augsburg that leaves at around midnight/ change at Frankfurt.
Would we be able to jump into Frankfurt early, rather than hanging around the airport station?
The tickets are train specific, but only want to jump on for 10 mins from airport and grab some food at the HBF.
Go to the regional station at the airport and get a local train to Frankfurt Hbf. Takes +/- 13 minutes.
There are quite a few places for getting something to eat, as well as a supermarket at the long-distance station, but doubt they'll be open after 9:00pm.

Thanks for that. Am I correct in thinking that the Flughafen Fernbahnhof is connected to the airport by the sky train?
Correct. The Skytrain runs very regular (every 10 minutes or so). Takes ca. 5 minutes.

We need to get to Dusseldorf airport the morning after the game. The trains with the best time for us are RE suffix trains. Does anyone know where you can buy these online as the just say not available on all the sites I have tried?
RE = Regional Express. There's no seat reservations possible on these, just turn up on the day and hope you get a seat. Tickets are available on the bahn.de web-site, although if you were at the match, your match ticket will still be valid on local trains (which the RE are) on the day after the game.

Hi troops
Has anyone received this from the SSC yet?
I heard it was being emailed out.
Looking to find out where the SSC support team will be based on Friday as I need to speak to them.
Cheers
I received it yesterday.

Hi Folks. I’ve not been to an away game for years but fancied the Dutch game. I have the full 10 home points and thought I may try but not had an email or access via the website. Are they all sold out? Any explanation of the system would be good.
People on 10 points can purchase from 6pm tommorow (Wednesday 6th).

No option to collect (that I could see), then the E-Mail confrimation is the same template as used for the ST sales, making reference to "tickets being loaded into the Hampden Park app".
Amatuer hour once again!

Per the SFA newsletter venue for Holland away still tbc. Thought it said Amsterdam late last year…
The E-Mail itself states Johan Cruijff Arena Amsterdam, but the linked article states tbc. They have posted previously on Twitter that it's Amsterdam.
In other words, could do better from a communication point of view.

I'm about to book Stuttgart to Munich on the 14th - we fly into Stuttgart about 11, so looking at a ~1.30 train. If we book cheapest tickets (for a specific train), but our flight is delayed, will they let us on a later one? Or will we need to buy extra tickets on the day (if available 😬)
You'll need to buy new tickets, which on the day could be expensive.

I booked ICE from Frankfurt to Düsseldorf today (just day tripping to Cologne for the game). Do we get allocated a seat for the journey on ICE or is it just a case of piling on to the carriages and standing like in the UK?
Seat reservations have a cost on top of the price for the ticket itself. Can be done when making the booking, but also separately.

Brilliant thanks, I might message my Air n B host to confirm the TV will have those channels.
ARD & ZDF is the equivalent of BBC. RTL is a commercial channel, a la ITV / STV. If there‘s a TV in your Air BnB those channels will be available.

Hopefully all the games will be free on German terristial TV too when we are over there?
They’re all on free to air channels, ARD / ZDF or RTL.

Not to panic you, but I had that the other day and contacted UEFA about it. They told me that "there was something wrong with my account" and told me to create a new one, which I did.
Not sure how that works now with the emails having to match the SSC one though.
No they don't.

@TA-West Germany any suggestions on getting to Brussels after the game?
ICE or Eurostar train.
Another option is the Flixbus from Cologne Airport.

I thought that I got two "bonus" points? What was the other one for?
How the loyalty points system works?
• One point is awarded for every home match attended by a member, as long as your ticket was purchased online or by phone, in advance of matchday
• Two points are awarded for every away match attended
• One point will be awarded for renewing members, who renew before 31 January 2023
• One point will be awarded for everyone who has been a member for the previous three campaigns, who renew before 31 January 2023
(Members must have bought the 2016-17, 2018-19 and 2020-22 campaigns) -

Yeah i get that, it's the folk saying they transferred them to pals with a few days notice prior to the Croatia game as they had covid after Wembley that i cant understand how they've done it!
The person with the ticket on their phone deleted the app. The 2nd person then downloaded the app. When they requested an activation code it would pe sent by text to the 1st person who would forward it. 2nd person then has the app with the tickets on their phone.

Sorry if I’m being thick but I don’t think so, is the post not too old to edit? I don’t see an option to do so.
I’ll try and find time for a mid-season edit around Christmas to update on how they are all doing and maybe to add a few new guys who have progressed quicker than expected and now deserve a place on the list.
Go to your 1st post and you, as thread starter, should be able to edit that. In that edit box, it‘s possible to change the title.

Hi folks,
Looking to see if anyone on here has a membership to Borussia Dortmund. Heading over next month and looking to acquire a ticket. I did apply for a membership myself, but looks like it’s not going to be accepted in time.
Any info please do let me know!
Cheers
Next months games will already be sold out, and they have a type of „probation“ period before new members have access to tickets in order to circumvent people doing what you are doing.
They have 55000 season ticket holders plus 175000 members.

I've heard it'll be a collection until 5pm, like Spain, in the town and there won't be anything at the Stadium - the French aren't willing to have fans attend the staidums en-masse.
You might want to get a better source, or a battery for your hearing aid.
