I've never been. Been watching the eruption online. Something I'd love to see in person.

I'd also wanted to experience an earthquake. My mate took me to the San Andreas fault line in California, nothing.

Then two years ago I was in Japan, second night in Tokyo and the hotel started swaying, just before that I had a strange feeling in my ears, such a strange experience.

The Japanese folk didn't bat an eyelid

I also went to Kagoshima and watched smoke billowing from sakurojima but no lava.

Christ Chaff, travel with you must be a blast! :)

I’m filing this one under “too much effort and cost for little reward”.

    Focusing on Moldova.

I have a flight and hotel booked for the Faroes, the closer it becomes the more inclined I am to cancel it due to the hassle and trying to think of a worthy reason to get into the Islands. Moldova now all booked up and sorted with my group.

  3. Just spent the a long weekend at the Ashbury golf hotel near Oakhampton in Devon. Although it rained for most of the time there really enjoyed the golf course's that are available to play 6 in total. The rest of the complex was ok with loads to do after or before your golf.

Not just the English media, we have an elected first minister in Scotland sucking English arses

People pay to watch or get that done!

  5. Mate, been a few years since I was last there and they were still doing work to enlarge it. Basically 2/3 huge glass domes with flora and fauna from around the globe that we are trying to keep from extinction. i really cannot remember a huge amount. But if you are in and around that area visit Bodmin moor, Port Issac,  Mevagissey, Pentewan harbour, the wee pub next to it is superb. That whole area of the country has something different around every corner. Enjoy.

28 years for Killie. And it was magic. A Scottish cup, a League cup, 4 European adventures or so and a hard fought 3rd place finish.

Two shite performances and roundly pumped by Dundee in the end, but nobody bows out gracefully.

It's a long way down, but fuck it. Bring on those Ayr bastards.

    See ya later.

Ha ha, us Ayr B'stards are awaiting you at the San Somerset! :):)
