  1. Marshall, Gordon, McCrorie

McKenna, Hanley, Gallagher, Cooper, Tierney, Robertson, O'Donnell

McTominay, McGinn, McGregor, Turnbull, Jack, Gilmour, Armstrong

Christie, Dykes, Griffiths, Fraser, Forrest, McBurnie

If it's 27 men, then add Considine, Taylor, McLean and Patterson.

    That's a great point.

Danny Ward was recalled to sit on the Liverpool bench (and sometimes, not even that), despite being Aberdeen's best player up to that point, and being number one and playing every week.

I stated on here that Brendan Rodgers pulled a few (Liverpool) strings. I was then rounded on and laughed at, mocked, insulted, you name it.

Maybe some people should revisit that theory.

What’s the theory here? That months before he knew Deila would be leaving Celtic, Rodgers intervened to get Liverpool to recall Ward to help Celtic win the league in the hope that when Deila - who he didn’t know was leaving - left he’d get the job and still be in the champions league?

  3. I’ve been helping out at my daughter’s football as a parent helper and really enjoyed it. They’re only six so it’s more about enjoyment and the very basics at this stage but it’s good to see them progress over time.

I’d consider some coaching courses but want to see if she’ll stick at it before making the commitment.

Interesting that Motherwell could be without as many as 17 players for tomorrow nights St Mirren game.

The St Mirren game that was called off due to their Covid breaches and them not having a big enough squad to fulfil the fixture as a result, the one that the SFA/SPFL wasted 3 months of free midweeks deciding what to do with, then planned in the busiest spell of the season.

17?! Have they all got something else on? Former team mate's birthday party or something? 😂

I agree with that. The Boris team came up with an excellent slogan of "data not dates" and he should have just stuck to saying that, over and over again. But the first thing he does is slap dates on stuff all over the place. As you say, the only thing people will remember are the dates.

People already going wild and booking holidays from July.

  6. The problem is, as soon as a date is mentioned it becomes set in stone in people's heads. Regardless of how many times anyone says 'this is an indicative date" or "this is a best case scenario" people get it in their head that the dates are fixed. You then get the added problem of stated dates leading people to think that things are getting better and their potentially becoming less rigid in their adherence to the current rules.

Once again, the UK government shambles has screwed it up.

I have to say Scott Wright looks more than capable of holding down a place in the Rangers first eleven. I always rated him but he looks even better than I thought. His end product maybe still needs to be improved but he looks very composed and confident. Another contender for support striker, probably from next season.

It's been a while since we had a "he's played five minutes for Rangers so we need to consider him for Scotland" post 👍

    His stats are damning.

    Dispossessed 4 times.

    Dribbled past 2 time.

    Tackles 0/2

1 dribble, one shot at goal(off target) 82% pass success rate and 2 interceptions are pretty poor for a player in his position.

    Barnsley 0

    Chelsea 1

Goal made by Gilmour. Those stats will do me.

If gilmour can get in the Chelsea team on a regular basis he should be in the squad, if he can’t then he shouldn’t make make the euro squad.

If Gilmour gets in the Chelsea team on a regular basis he'll be in our team never mind squad.

Where are the council getting the money. Thought they were near bankrupt?

No idea. They probably don't know either!

Why are they so keen to get it built near the beach?

Something about regenerating the whole area of the city and Aberdeen FC being key to that. As vanderark14 has said, I would imagine the prospect of 10k+ fans being in the town every second weekend is seen as good for businesses rather than all those people heading out of town to Westhill. Shame no-one thought of that 20 years ago or whenever this new stadium idea was first mooted.

Can't for the life of me understand why they're not abusing the appeals system this time, suppose there's a 1st time for everything.

Because the league's done and dusted: him missing three games won't matter and there's no need to feed the staunch meter either as things are going so well on the park.

I am not saying it doesn't

What are you saying? It shouldn’t be a competition but you’re posting competing numbers. The geography makes rollout harder in Scotland but it should still be ramped up regardless?

I’m honestly not seeing your point other than you want people to be vaccinated more quickly but other than a pretty blanket criticism of how it’s being done in Scotland, I don’t see what you’re specifically asking for.

It’s not too bad actually, doesn’t taste like a 9.5 beer. Had many horrific ones at the Brewdog agm, this is quite drinkable, more so than the double punk which is 8.2% imo.

If you like some of the Brewdog pales and IPAs it's worth checking out Pilot Brewery in Edinburgh and Vocation in Yorkshire if you aren't already familiar.
