Drums on and off for around 20 years but never anything professional etc.

Watched it last night and enjoyed it more than I though I would have. As others have mentioned, feels like quite an abrupt ending but definitely sets up for a sequel.
Scotland looks incredible throughout and Chris Pine is really good in the top role.

Lets be honest here (if you are watching the match) he had done nothing up until that moment. He was Johnny on the spot for the goal heading in a deflected cross unmarked from 4 yards out. Even the commentators have him tagged as a 'makeshift striker'. The fact that so many want him in speaks buckets on how desperate we are as supporters and how desperate Scotland are at present.
If he’s scoring lucky goals, I’ll take that all day long

Is that three in four now? Would certainly be worth giving him a go up to, given our lack of striking options.
So far yeah. Should be playing with Fletcher. We need to win games, 1 up top nae use

Paterson again for Cardiff

Sounds like a failure to keep up / modernise is the main issue here. Obviously bad for people to lose their jobs but unless they fully redo the plant to bring it up to code, what other options are there?

Attendance all depends on the result in Albania. Anything less than a win will see another <20,000 match.

A mix of Freddie Mercury and Rami Malek

Admittedly never been a massive Queen fan but you forget how many top class songs they have until you hear them like this.
Definitely worth checking out. Would recommend cinema where possible to get the scale, particularly of the Live Aid scenes.

Yes, it came in from the SSC last week. Most were in relation to the Portugal match and overall experience but a chunky section on how confident we are about qualifying etc.

Of all the times to do a Fan Survey, the SFA pick now...
Wouldn't like to have to read through the responses to these...

The fact that the last 3 homes games (2 glamour friendlies and a competitive match) have failed to attract 20,000 fans gives an indication of the current state of play. Same old story and at 34, even with additional places, I'm now wondering if I'll ever see Scotland at a tournament again.
The next month will be some ride

Saw a post by the SFA earlier saying on this day in 1997, we qualified for France 98.
21 years without qualification.
-
Awful. Absolutely shameful performance tonight. Right from KO we’ve looked poor

21 years ago today we last qualified for a tournament 😕
Ugh. What a stat.

UFC and boxing have been steadily moving towards the Sports Entertainment category for years now.

Ronaldo not in the squad for the Portugal friendly.
A convenient excuse for the SFA for when the stadium is only a third full.

💣💥 bang - there goes a lot of the feel good factor around the ladies team, unfortunately.
Seconded.

Look forward to seeing the squad. Given the 2 games I'd expect a solid team for the Israel match then lots of drop offs for the friendly which would give opportunity to try new players etc.
-
Come on folks. This is Scottish fitba mind. As long as the sponsors and broadcasters are happy, that's all that really matters.

I'm sure it's captured in the T&Cs somewhere. I think the main rule is that a male steward cannot search a female and vice versa without express permission.

The 55+ demographic is key. This is the most that are reluctant to any kind of change and easily duped by the establishment media.
I do take comfort in knowing that there's only a 6% swing needed next time to win. I know lots who voted No that would now be Yes which is welcome for next time. My biggest fear is that if we mess this up again then it's game over.
-
Great stuff. 5 goals in 2 games for Hornby is encouraging

Didn't hear any boos when Jack came on or when his name was called in the squad. Likewise with Allan McGregor. Strangely, only comments I'd seen were on Twitter from Rangers' fans who were unlikely in attendance playing the victim card again.
Club allegiances mean absolutely nothing on international duty. Pulling on the dark blue is much bigger than that.

We've also lost Mean Gene Okerlund of 90's WWF / WCW fame already this year
