Do you know what. We are like the Scots under Wallace. Put up a good fight but the unionists rolled out the heavy armour of big business and international diplomatic opinion along with control of the broadcast media.
So now we need our Bruce, who unlike Wallace was from the ruling class - we need control of the media, we need to get working on the EU members, we need lots of pro indy MPs in Westminster and we need the support of some large international businesses.

I agree these papers in the first video are larger than the ballot papers- could they be postal votes?

I think we all got a glimpse of what life could be like in a positive inclusive forward thinking society. The images from George Square are depressing but I believe that a section of our population have been energised by this process and this far outweighs the negativity of tonight's scenes.

Agreed, it was a clever tactic. The quislings knew they were doing the selfish thing by voting no, the vow was a means by which they could justify to themselves that they were somehow helping Scotland. IIn fact most of them could not give a fcuk I whether we even have our own parliament.

60 nations gained independence from the United Kingdom when given the choice.
Only one has ever voted against their own independence from the UK.
To be fair I doubt if the citizens of those 60 countries were subject to the media bias we have endured but yes the ingredients label for Scotland would read " 55% shitebags"

I agree with you in terms of tonight but there is no way these scum would not have rioted at some point in the coming days due to the political dismembering of their precious Union Jack if we had done the biz at the polls.

Please can we stop with this idea that is English residents who voted no. There were two million scots who did this. Mentioning English plays into the hands of folk who think we are all raving braveheart nats.
I appreciate that bud. I repeat it was a genuine question not a point score against the English per se. I don't know the make up of the population, I assumed they were working class rural types so was amazed at how their vote went.

I remain baffled by the Orkney and Shetland voting figures. Is there a large English population on these Islands? Serious question just can't get my head round it?
