What is embarrassing is that you might think that Scotland would have done any better...It was Belgium we lost to, not bloody Georgia. If I were you I would be more concerned about not qualifying for a tournament for nearly 20 years and finishing behind teams of alot lower quality than the republic instead of talking nonsense

Belgium on their day would have done the same to the most of the non big teams in the tournament.

While i dont agree with o neills tactics in some games....we simply dont have the players to play teams like Belgium in a more aggressive/entertaining style.

We deserve to be at the tournament because its a 24 team tournament...and we qualified by going unbeaten against teams like Bosnia and Germany.

24 teams may allow some of the weaker nations in, but that is UEFAs problem not ours and we qualified fairly and the hard way to get here..We should have beaten Sweden in Paris (had we not decided to sit back once we took the lead) and we got our backsides slapped by the belgians on the basis of them been vastly technically superior to us and us not playing to our strengths and making mistakes we normally dont make defensively and in other areas.

We are in probably the competitions toughest group also...which seems to be ignored by some people.

IF we beat Italy tomorrow , we will qualify for the second round....and taking 4 pts from sweden, belgium and Italy considering our limited playing pool to choose from is an OK return, if we dont, then we go out, but that still doesnt mean that we should be nowhere near the tournament

Well said mate. Too many on here with chips on their shoulders. Enjoy your night bud ☘??☘

  2. So if the wife is genuinely disabled then this stress will help her? If it's not your job to detect benefit fraud then leave it alone. There are people paid to do this.

If the wife is genuinely disabled then I'm sure the authorities will be able to establish that fairly quickly. Based on the OP this couple have wangled two council houses, no doubt denying someone else on the waiting list . Doesn't sound fair to me.

  3. Some people on this thread are saying" but he didn't cost us a goal". That was more luck than anything else. Forsyth was a bombscare the entire match, this idea that he came onto a game in the second half also needs put to bed, he was horseshit the whole 90 mins.

  4. When I read this in the paper this am I actually had to check the date to make sure it wasn't April 1st. Sharia has made a total coont of himself. Oh and Dom Thomas should be in the starting 11 never mind the squad. Raging.

  5. Last nights game did not suit Chris Martin. However he was decent against Georgia when he came on and took the ball in on his chest and got us up the pitch as the game petered out. I still think he has a contribution to make but only in matches where we are spending more time higher up the pitch.

  6. I haven't seen any highlights but I remember two daft bits of play from Fletcher. One where he tried a Van Basten shot that was never on when he had time to run the ball int the box and shoot from closer. The second was one where he lashed a stupid shot from the edge of the box whilst off balance and surrounded by defenders. That said he had more good than bad about him and if Naisy had played quicker ball through to him I think he would have bagged a goal. Hes worth another start IMO

  7. On form, Berra deserves a chance, Morrison should be a certain starter, McArthur deserves a chance, Dorrans should probably start, and Gordon deserves a chance.

On top of that, it would be interesting to see what Bryson, and Gauld, and Martin, and May can do.

But, I agree with you, I think this is the team WGS will pick.

Looking at the players who will be on the bench, I wonder when we last had such good options to change a game with subs.

Berra and McArthur to start? You must be smoking some good crack mate

  8. I agree that he has exploited this tragedy in the past. In fact was David Cameron not going down the same route with his speech about the NHS?

Anyhow I agree to an extent that the subject of his dead child is not taboo as such but is still a tragedy in my eyes and is not something which should be mocked.

    Doesn't mean I don't think he's a devious james hunt btw
