Wrong. I was a brilliant footballer. Still am, but lost a few yards. I needed expensive boots. I probably had the hardest shot in Ottawa back in the day.  Cheap boots would explode on impact. My runs, and sheer speed alone needed that extra stitching in ma boots. To each is own I suppose.. Nothing against 30 pound boots of  course, I'd just go through a pair a week. I trained 7 days a week..

Of course you were, chief. Of course you were. The Canadian Robert Baggio I heard. Do you think about what you're about to post or just type the first thing that comes to your head?

The circus has already begun with their first opponents announcing the first match will be pride day.

    Absolutely great shitehousery.

I quite like the Nikka Coffey Japanese malt and was given a bottle of Nikka From The Barrel as a gift so was quite looking forward to cracking it open.  Had a dram from it last weekend and it's rank rotten.  It'll be kept in the cupboard for "special occasions" (visitors that I don't really like!).

Think so? I had a bottle of it and was very sad when I finished it! Couple of drops of water and it's good to go. I'm pretty mad into any whisky from Japan though.

Boyds rant in response was very ironic, given despite all the records he broke, he could undoubtedly have made more of his ability, but appeared happy to be a big fish in a small pond and never kicked on to the next level. (Apparently he scored the same amount of goals in old firm games as Lee Naylor, El Kadouri or Ugo Ehiogu 😂 ).

Gary Caldwells own goal tally into Celtic would put Boyds stats against Celtic to shame.

He's the Rangers version of Sutton. Both are idiots who should be nowhere near a panel of a game.

Lazy comparison. Sutton has been excellent in talking the game up since he stated and you can tell puts in the work with what he's talking about. If Kris Boyd told me it was April then I'd still check my calendar.

Sutton is obviously easily dislikeable for some given the fact he's clearly pro-Celtic, however is still miles more qualified to talk about a game of football compared to Boyd.

I was shocked Griffiths had apparently played so few league games. Is it league starts Boyd is quoting or just complete made up nonsense?

I always felt Boyd was at his best when he was trying to prove someone wrong. He had a great run after he chucked Scotland, he’d have probably got a few more caps if he’d shown the same commitment before he chucked it as he did for a spell after. Which made his comments a bit hypocritical other than the other obvious problems with it.

Given that Boyd comes across as thick as mince, I'm willing to gamble on made up nonsense.

A goal and an assist for Griffiths. But more than that, he was heavily involved in a lot of Celtic's attacks. He may be out of practise, but he is evidently not shy of the ball. Fingers crossed it continues and we have him as an option for the playoffs.

He's a player that, even if he is having a bad game, he can still end up with an assist or a goal out of nothing.

Aye, his link up play within the opposition half was pretty good in places. Obviously should get better as he gets more game time, but the signs are good. Timing couldn't have been much better for Scotland.

Well I don't give a flying fuck about anybody else who commented on this thread, the only person I do care about is McTeekos daughter if this actually happened. All kidding aside, I take my job very serious as it is drinking water we are talking about. I wish I had of known about this when it first happened, I would have dealt with it personally.

    The Canadian Don Corleone here.

  9. Is the Reykjavik happy hour app still a thing? I used it when I went over for the football and it gives you a break down of a lot of city centre bars that have cheap beers at various times of the day. Gives you a banging pub crawl and saves you a few pound.
