Newer ones have opened at SWG3 though. Their sound is good, but I'm not keen on the long narrow layouts. I've been in "Galvanizers" and the "TV Studio" so far. Opeth didn't like the small stage however, and reminisced about the ABC.
Sound at the Barras beats the Academy hands down; and beats the Hydro too unless you're standing in the middle there. Getting to like sitting upstairs nowadays at the Academy when they open it. Hydro seats are too far away.
I did get to SWG3 to see Pete Murphy & Daniel Ash doing In the Flat Field and was at yard for LCD Soundsytem gig. Defo good place for gig. Coming from Falkirk way it's a bit of a hassle getting there if you're not driving.

Still great to be going Shed 7 gigs, 25yrs on from Change Giver tour. Academy is a shit hole venue, cheaper for bands to hire though, compared to Barras. Good to see loads of young folk in to Shed 7 too. Losing the O2 ABC and now the Art School, bit of a blow for gigging in Weegie.

They’ve pinched other teams best players for peanuts for years, if they’d offered real value for McGinn & McKenna they would be a lot better now. They demand big money for their own players but low ball teams in Scotland, nobody to blame but their arrogant selves 😱
How do you stop big clubs in Scotland penny pinching players? It's been the same for years and the clubs have done nothing about it. Do you then deny players like Lewis Ferguson a move to a big club, just because the rules allow the transfer fee to be so low.

Sturridge linked with Celtic on 5live yesterday.

Only listen to Radio Scotland, worst for me are Allan Preston & Billy Dodds. Michael Stewart used to be okay, this season just seems to want to argue with everybody. Willie Miller is okay sometimes, Liam McLeod not good at all , ridiculous that Paul Mitchell got punted for him as main commentator. Richard Gordon good anchorman. Worst on TV is John Hartson.

Willie Miller described one of Morelos's dives as 'like watching Peter Pawlett of old' 🤣. Didn't realise Pawlett is now Dundee Utd and Utd now have American owners. Why did the Thompsons sell?

Spirit of Eden is a masterpiece, EMI tried to sue the band for not making a commercially sound album. They failed but all record companies then subsequently inserted a clause in to recording contracts, that albums must to be commercially sound and viable.

Anyone got advice/knowledge on consumer law, could they PM me.

I can kind of see why he’s not been cited.
It was a bit of a dive, but he didn’t fully commit to the dive and didn’t appeal for it.
He also plays for Rangers.
😛
He should have been cited but when you see Shinnie getting away with his Superman dive few weeks ago, there's not much surprise.

I've got Audio-Technica ATLP120, hooked up to Ruark R4i.

Don't rule KT out just yet. We've previous for keeping that mob guessing with team news right up until the last minute.
Surely it will be more suprising if he doesn't play.

Hopefully Shinnie will get a 2 game ban.

Aye, sad to see him gone.
First saw Buzzcocks at an Anti-Nazi League rally in Manchester in '77. Next around '79 at a club in Sheffield and Joy Division were the support. Last saw 'em maybe 15 years back. Pete had put on the pounds - enjoying himself, I hope. Loads of good memories with Pete Shelley connections.
Early Buzzcocks using a riff that I guess had been left them by Howard Devoto - he used it again with Magazine's 'Shot By Both Sides':

Pete solo - colliding with early '80s sequencing; still toe-tapping though:

His '76 electronic/synth recordings Cinema Music & Wallpaper Sounds is superb. It finally got a release couple of years ago.

Having watched the last 2 games, does Edouard always have a languid style of play ?

The usual Monday night pantomime show from Stewart.

Said ages ago I think Lennon would be a great pick as manager but straight away you would have a large section of fuckwits who would be out to get him for their own twisted reasons.
As proved in the recent quarter final at Easter Road.

Ended up short of time, just got currency card from Thomas Cook.

We ended up just using the scheduled bus service to get there.

What are the better options for currency, get before travelling, wait till there etc?

Ian Maxwell is living up to the same incompetence levels as Stewart Regan.

wonder what that will do for the price of our bottles? A lot of reviews of the whisky say its excellent. Mine could become endangered one cold winters evening. 😉
There was Rosebank sampling at Falkirk Whisky Festival couple of weeks ago. They were showing the artists impressions of the new distillery.

I looked it up.
It's actually Sevco's worst Scottish Premiership start in 3 years.
They were talking about that stat on Off the Ball yesterday. Celtic would have put AEK Athens out if they had produced a performance like today's one.

The outrage of players when Deila tried to change the menu at Lennoxton. Over the years any foreign managers, that have tried to advise players to eat healthily, they always seem to get derided. Thankfully it does seem to be changing now with younger players.
