Scun, you're getting delirious because Labour have edged ahead in a poll.
I know you want a Labour government, but with a Tory government split down the middle on Europe and gleefully dishing out austerity, the official opposition ought to be streets ahead in the polls.
The fact that they're not tells you a lot about their own lack of credibility.

I think it's Wings over Scotland that was referring to him as 'Willie Rennie... aww, bless'.
Politicians can take hatred and abuse; they don't cope with being patronised.

I qualified (just!) and am booked on the 1340 from Paris 'Est' on Friday 3rd and back Sunday on 1157 to Paris = £60. Unfortunately these trains did not give a discount for over 60 but still a good price
Thought you'd chickened out of this trip?

Thanks for that. This will be my sixth trip to Prague, and we've done most of the usual tourist visits, but the Strahov monastery and brewery is one we haven't done, so that's on the list. ?

It's bad enough guys taking their missus with them, but also their kids.
??????
Nothing wrong with this. We started taking the kids when they were 7 and 8, and they're seasoned TA now, aged 19 and 21. We're schooling the next generation.

Be looking for one: my pal is working in Prague, so free digs but we need to find him a ticket

Both groups we normally travel with aren't running any buses to this game.
Queen Street tunnel makes the train a pain.
Anyone running a bus who could pick up a couple of hitchhikers in Dundee or Perth?

One of the easier scripts for an actor to learn. Great timing, though. RIP Fr Jack.

One way is 550 euros. The minibus can take eight; would make sense to get as close to that as possible.
Any other takers?

I think there's a few on the Transavia flight from Edinburgh arriving at 16:45 on Friday 3rd. If you are, are you interested in sharing a minibus (up to eight) that will go straight to Metz?
I'm getting a price for this.
From the other thread it looks like people aren't all heading for the same return flight, so we'd all have to make our own way back to Orly.
Please reply if interested.

Gary, another 2 on these flights. Would be very interested in coach CDG - Metz - CDG. Keep us updated of any progress.
I'm looking to see how much a minibus with driver would be if there's a few of us on this flight.
Is everyone returning from Orly on the 18:25 flight to Edinburgh?
Car hire's not too expensive, but the hotel we're going to has no parking, and I don't know if I want the hassle.
-
Stuff that. We're on the Transavia flight from Edinburgh on Friday.
We need a bus about 5pm from Orly, returning Sunday afternoon.
-
Just booked flights to Paris £103 Glasgow to CDG with easyjet Thursday to Monday 3 nights in Hotel Le Mondon in Metz then a night in Paris. Will sort trains out when they become Saailable.
See you in Le Mondon.
Mrs Padre will be along to keep everyone in order, btw

It looks like there will plenty of people arriving in Paris on the Friday and leaving Paris on the Sunday. Train fares will be expensive unless you get the cheapest earliest seats. A bus makes sense.
There are people who are good at organising buses. I wish I was one of them, but I'm not.
Who on here knows how to arrange this?
-
I cant understand the need to start making 'ooooh' noises getting in and out of seats.
Noticed that I've started doing that. Really irritating.

Just saw this on Facebook:
"Unf*ckwithable - (adj.) when you're truly at peace and in touch with yourself, and nothing anyone says or does bothers you, and no negativity or drama can touch you."
P.S. Does not apply to the Tartan Army.

Bernie seems like a good guy on the economy.
What's he like on foreign policy? That's what we'd notice most about him if he ever became president.

Alexei Sayle (c 1980) had a good one - tame for him - when on stage and there was an incoherent shout from somewhere in the audience:
"Have I got a heckler there? Oh well, keep going. I remember when I had my first drink."
-
That bus wont get to Metz before 1am. Hope it's cheap because the ouibus.fr costs £12.
Already showing 30 euros

We're staying with a pal who's based in Prague for a while. He'll be looking for a ticket. I'll ask nearer the time
