Join us at the Iron Horse West Nile St for our legendary Scotland game pre-match party. We're open from 9am for breakfast with Scottish karaoke, music, kilts & chaos on 2 floors from about 12 noon. We're running a bus to the game and back. £6 return with £1 from each ticket going to the Sunshine Appeal. (PS - We'll be having some Scottish choons in the bar on the Wednesday night if anyone is in the mood to get the party started!)

Hi, the only buses we've ever dealt with are of the Tartan Army variety. We're too knackered to do anything else! The bus tickets are all sold - looking forward to seeing you all We'll have windows open upstairs, big fans, extraction etc. We try our best to keep it cool but if it's a hot day it's just....hot, sorry.

Yikes, looks like we've missed a wee debate here! At the Iron Horse for many years we have catered for Tartan Army parties, foreign tour groups, gay weddings, 21st birthdays, 90th birthdays, ex servicemen, Star Trek fans, stag nights and pensioners that come in every week for a fish tea. Our customers are great and we appreciate every one. We have regulars all over the world that call the Iron Horse "home" when they are in Glasgow. Some are on this message board sticking up for us which is lovely! We look forward to seeing you each time you're back. However, you can't please all of the people all of the time however hard you try! We'd love you all to come back but there are loads of fantastic pubs in Glasgow and hopefully, wherever you go, you'll have a great time. And, no - there are no plans to take down the building! Maybe see you in October if not before.

The bus will leave at 6.30. The return trip really depends on the traffic etc but it normally gets back between 10pm and 11pm.

Yes (well supervised) children are welcome during the day! Please bear in mind that it can get quite hectic on the day so please keep a close eye on the wee ones.

Hi folks, It was great to see so many of you for the Georgia game. Thank you for making it another fantastic day! We're planning to do it all again for the upcoming games. We'll be open from 8am for beer and rolls & sausage. We'll have 2 floors open for Scottish music and shenanigans. 2 buses will be going to each game, leaving at approx 6.15. Looking forward to seeing you . Yes, we do open at 8am every day and btw we also serve a range of soft drinks if you want to pace yourselves! Dohadeer, I do appreciate your concern. I would say that our dancefloor is used every weekend for various parties as well as zumba classes etc, and has crowds dancing and bouncing about on a regular basis. It was built with "give" to accommodate this. We do also monitor numbers and we prevent entry when it gets too busy. However, we will be monitoring numbers on the dancefloor and doing everything we can to keep people safe. All the best.
