McGinn and Villa knocked out of the semi final.
It would've been nice for McGinn to win a major trophy, but it's equally nice that he plays one less match.
He's not injured. Yay!
Seemingly villas best player

Christie off with a ruptured appendicitis yet?
On the bench, Gilmour starts though

Cardiff getting battered but Turnbull still decent. Says he's created the most chances in the match (3)

See Andy Irving got a second half hat trick for his Austrian side against RB Salzburg. He also got a goal and an assist against them last week. That's 9 goals and 4 assists in 25

Russell Martin says Armstrong not as bad as first feared. Most probably out of their remaining fixtures, but hopeful he'll make the Euros
-
Christie supposedly, yet again, playing well in the deeper role (even with Bournemouth losing)....
-
Been confirmed Armstrong out for rest of seasonย

I don't see how he 'knackers himself' by playing at the Euros. He is back in the gym and light training with the Euros still two months away. Even if he should fail to playfor Brentford he will be continuing to build his fitness up and can test things out in our two friendlies and take it from there. If he comes through those games fine then I cannot see any danger of him 'knackering himself' at the Euros considering he would have had around two and a half months of activity behind him without mishap potentially.
I think he'll end up going to the Euros, it'll probably end up that he'll play 60 mins in the group games, so he gets his fitness up for the later stages....
