  1. i called them when i got back from holiday last week as i'd missed the email. as had my mate as he was on holiday too. they said then that there was approx 80 on the waiting list but the waiting list would then be dealt with on a points basis. i'm a 9 pointer and my mate's on 8 and we got a call this afternoon to say that we were both getting tickets.

the ridiculously short lead time for ticket sales is pretty far from ideal. i know a lot of that is outwith the hands of the SSC but they could've given a bit more notice or worked with ATAC to arrange 100% ticket uplift in Tbilisi. they could even have "sold" virtual tickets to club members and then confirmed (or not) those sales once in receipt of the physical briefs.

  2. Get a life ya wee p00f!

if you've got "considerable capital" as stated on a previous post why not get yourself booked on one of the many flights available for the match? and to satisfy your "genuinely trying to address the serious travel issues faced by the TA" offer to heavily discount the trip for half a dozen or so fans that can't afford it.

  3. It's not that long since folk on here were complaining about plastic paddys etc. what a difference a weekend makes!

Dublin was awesome but let's leave it till fate puts us together again ;-)

the "plastic paddys" live on the Scottish side of the water - not in Ireland. that won't have changed in spite of a great weekend.

  4. Yeah, yeah...

Everything is hunky dory - Scotland were fantastic on Saturday, and holding Ireland to a draw is a great result - Even if they don't get 2nd place which is all but guaranteed now, Scotland will waltz through a play off, as they have such a great record in 'crunch' do or die type games.......

That what you want to hear ? fine.....

Clearly you're forgetting the recent Qatar match. We sailed through that do or die cup final

  5. I got this from the Easter Road Conference & Events Sales Manager a couple of weeks ago:

Could you please just put some information up on one of your boards regarding the below:

‘’A cash bar will be open in the North Stand from 5pm onwards on the evening of the Qatar match with a food and drinks offer available which is yet to be confirmed’’

Any questions please just let me know!

We are just keen to let fans know that we will have facilities open on site J

  6. But it's still open isn't it ?

there's a ticket only (unfortunately, no tickets left) pre-match function in the smaller hall. the large hall is closed for the wedding. the bar in the stand at Easter Road will be open and kids are permitted in there.

  7. The ticketing this campaign has been a joke and I can concur with most of what has been said. Can I suggest that the SFA choose a few folk at 'random' from those who are members of the Scotland Travel Club and ask their views on the issue.

The scenario of always asking members of the ATAC is ,in my opinion, where some of the problems exist. I personally feel that ATAC members and groups are too cosy and close with the SFA and don't want to rock the boat on issues that involve ALL Scotland fans and are only interested in preserving their own needs and requirements for away games etc etc.

Ask the fans who have paid for their Season Ticket and get independent views from a variety of sources and who knows? the SFA might just listen!!

There's nothing to stop anyone at anytime approaching the SFA about tickets or anything else. After you've been in touch with them can you post on here with how you got on with them and what points you discussed? I can't understand why anyone would buy a season ticket. That's not the best way to complain about ticket prices.

"For all enquiries please contact us either at the address above or by email to supporters@scottishfa.co.uk or by telephone on 0141 616 6197 or 6198."

PS - the Scotland Travel Club no longer exists. It was replaced by the SSC.

  8. Anne Marie Bannon is the manager of the SSC I doubt very much she (or anyone else in the SSC) has any input at all into the pricing of match day tickets. I would imagine this comes from the marketing dept and rubber stamped by the board.

Jules McGeever, on the other hand, is the shameless, money chasing marketing genius who appears to be behind increasing their profit from supporters by 33%. She has neither a clue about her customers or a grasp on reality.

  9. the SFA are taking the utter pish i have noticed on the stadium plan they keep changing the areas and amount of tickets for sale and i can only presume its to make people panic buy tickets which is totally contemptable i have no doubt the ROI game will be close to or possibly will be a sell out without the SFA trying it on

totally correct. make it look like a shortage to encourage panic buying.

no way this match will sell out. the SFA marketing department are playing games as usual. bunch of see you next tuesdays.
