I think you always had to pay the fare difference but there is no change fee for the first change iirc.

Surely you would always have had to pay the fare difference, otherwise you would simply just have booked the cheapest fare for another flight/day than the one you actually wanted to travel and then swopped this to a more expensive fare day/flight for free. That would be a no brainer for the airline to allow that.

SFA could ask the lead booker?  No response, or failure to advise means they all miss out on 2 points 😂😂

In all seriousness, I've no idea how they could check or enforce it.

Shows what a sh**show it’s all become! To be fair the fact this went down to as so low a points level shows the threats themselves have worked with the majority who could have harvested didn’t! I think the bigger test will be the game tmoro. Everyone has their own ticket on a smart phone so technically this would be a lot easier way to stop points being allocated!

I believe a few people are to be contacted as some tickets haven't been scanned in Amsterdam, which could be interesting.

Hard one that to get right! Tickets were sent out in bulk to lead booker with no names on them! We had 6 sent so if 1 of us had not attended how would they know who to penalise!!!??

Chose standard postage - pleased to confirm it was delivered in Glasgow an hour ago.

No idea why the SFA have chosen to cut it so fine with the whole ticket sale and distribution process for this game.

    Because they can!!! 😜

Following the announcement, how many points we reckon this goes down to?

If the points have been updated as well as both the system buying instructions earlier in the week and their use of the Julian calendar in emails I’d guess about minus 9!

I’ve been trying to phone the SFA all day about the new ticketing system but keep getting the engaged tone .

    Phoned 0141 606 6000
Is that the correct number , has anyone actually managed to get through ,or have they taken the phones off the hook ?

I’d suggest it’s either switched off or only one person answering!

Just seen this on Facebook, hope it helps .

Seems a lot of people have now received this email. The narrative with it also seems to indicate that it may not have been as user friendly to manoeuvre as some were suggesting yesterday that the reason we failed and were slightly lambasted about was the standard of our reading and comprehension skills!! 😉

I found that it started off far to small, and if you clicked to zoom in, it would take you all the way in that you could not see where you were sitting, and took a couple of efforts to get it to a manageable size to get a seat that I wanted.

    Found that too!

He might have hooked the SFA first by selling them them this shit ticketing system. He seems very protective of a shit system that clearly doesn't work properly. 😉 🤣

No no it worked for him so all was well! See there is still a queue to get in, who can still remember when we we’re sh*** and you picked 20 seats each!!?

agreed but it doesn't and that was clear in advance

    yeah obv this isn't acceptable

over the top nonsense. It was a new system, they told us that in advance. It was a 2 minute read which was emailed to everyone. Anyway who really cares, there are easily enough tix to go round

I can’t believe how many people you are hooking in! Lol

Bottom line is that particular part of the system appears clunky! To be fair I got decent seats for us all! Just paid more them! Life goes on!

What I don’t understand is why that extra level is needed. Simple database change to mark what age category all of us in. Update basket and it updates price! It’s not rocket science! Old system managed it lol!

I'm just saying if you have a large group and are trying to select specific seats then it's always gonna be harder. People clearly didn't look at how to do it in advance, not the SFA's fault.

I did so I’ve failed! Lol

Nah but it shows you how to. Obv if you're buying 9 tix there is a chance someone takes one of the seats before you have bought it

If you had I’m sure you would have been fine then!! Unfortunately a lot of people haven’t!

See my previous post. If you have large numbers let the system allocate your tickets. Then you can pop how many of each category you want and move the tickets around after it’s allocated them.

I accept that but it depends on what they see as best pick! I’d rather be at the back and to the side than down the front in the middle!

The system is totally fine. It's a queue followed by selecting tickets of which there are plenty to go round. There was a booking guide showing you what to do too. Not their fault people don't read it then complain at half 10 on the day.

Can I ask if you bough any Senior or Junior tickets at all!?
