  1. The woke is very strong in this thread. I'll take a moment of reflection before each match for all the poor souls missing out on things they feel they are entitled to have but won't get because miserable, ungrateful khunts like me do get them.

It's a cruel, unfair world. Luckily I don't give a #### what folk on the Internet think.

True. Very true. However, if you are a Scotland fan who cannot get excited about our first foray into a major tournament for 23 years I have to question whether the tickets would be better served elsewhere.

I have to admit that I also stopped getting excited about Christmas about 35 years ago.

But I'm sure Santa Claus, like the SSC, won't give a flying one, because that's just the way the world works.

A bit of a knife in the guts to thousands of Scotland fans who will miss out on tickets.

Unfortunately for those thousands of fans, ticket eligibility isn't based on excitement levels - it's based on points gained by spending thousands of pounds travelling around the world.

  4. Talking of Covid, has anybody seen/heard anywhere what the stadium entry protocols will be?

I'm talking about test/vaccine certificates type things. I live down south but will be in Scotland a few days before the games and not sure how you go about booking an official test and how many days it needs to be valid for before the game.

I'm guessing home tests won't count for anything.

Great thanks for this. You don't think you would be able to click both links at same time and having both windows open at same time when ordering to try increase chances of getting access to both games straight as soon as they go on? I think the €125 ones will sell pretty quickly (even though more than most have ever paid for hampden!) Thanks again

That is what I did, but I'm not sure if it actually achieved any advantage.

Question for those who bought multiple tickets yesterday:  If tickets become available for 14 pointers for both hampden games whats the best way to buy both tickets in one transaction? Did you have 2 windows open on same computer clicking on different links or only click on other link once you had tickets in your bag? Looks like only €125 or €185 tickets available so the cheaper of the 2 would be preferable to the majority of fans so wondering quickest way to complete 2 transactions on one account?

I did all 3 games in one transaction.

    Click game 1 link

    Select category

    Add ticket to basket

    Click game 2 link

You'll see basket contains an item (game 1 ticket)

    Select game 2 category

    Add to basket

    Etc, etc, etc

Only risk is if something goes wrong, which did yesterday for some, then you could lose the lot...

  7. Has anybody else done the Seat with friend option?

I have a number of different friends with different book numbers. Some have 1 booking number for 3 games, some have 3 individual ones, etc. I booked all 3 tickets in one booking, so have 1 code.

Anyway, each time I plug in a friends code, the friends included keeps changing. i.e I enter somebody's England code, then I see other linked mates. Then I add somebody else Croatia code, then those previous names disappear and I get different list of my friends.

Basically, this system looks really unreliable.

  8. Robertson hasn't been great and there has been calls to drop him.

Tierney is injured and no guarantee he will make Euros.

    Gilmour nowhere near team.

McTominay would be a loss, but midfield is our strongest areas in terms of quality players eligible for selection.

Says the guy who averages 55 posts per year over a 17 year stay. With those stats, it would suggest that you never gave a damn.

And who are these "good guys"?

The tipping point for the TAMB was when a person created a poll, (asking for a poster to be banned) The result was an unequivocal backing of the target poster. Since then, the creater of the poll hasn't been seen since and all those silly "Mods, ban poster x" have stopped.

Since then, this place has settled down and I've seen less insults and personal abuse. So perhaps these "good guys" weren't that good after all.

I'll say to you what I say to people who appeal to the mods to ban people, or tell posters to leave. If you don't like the TAMB, and "want it to die", go away and create your own forum and fill it with all your "good guys".

And for the record, the silent majority of the TAMB are nice people. It was the vocal minority that were the problem - The ones that thought they owned this place and could dictate who should post here and who shouldn't.

Well since you've trawled my stats, I've had a look at yours and I see you only joined TAMB in Dec 2018, so you'll be unaware of all the good guys that have left in the last 17 years, so no point referencing them. And anyway, these folk are not going to come back - unlike some trolls that re-spawn on a constant basis.

  10. If Rashford and other rich footballers stopped all their tax avoidance antics and paid the taxes us and all these underprivileged folk have to, then there would be enough coffers in the Treasury to pay for all these free meals, etc., without the need for all these hollow, psuedo-saviour gestures from media attention whores.

  11. Apart from the 2 free kicks against England, Griffiths was hardly an effective and worthy striker for Scotland in the past.

I'd be wary pining Scotland hopes on his shoulders.  Although I'd still have Griffiths before McBurnie!!
